So yesterday I went with my cousin that his wife gave birth at the hospital yesterday morning, so when we got there, come see crowd of people everywhere, some were crying and all that.
So I asked my cousin's wife what's going on, she said some people were rushed to the hospital the previous night (mother, 2 of her daughter and her son, they came back to the village for the Christmas holidays) that the mother prepared Ugba for the family and after eating the Ugba they were rushed to the hospital and they all died in the morning of yesterday, that is a family of 4 that came back for the Christmas holidays just gone like that. Oboy I just weak.
It happens in a community in Amuzu in Aboh Mbaise LGA in Imo State.

ReplyDeleteI stayed awake to drop my token for the anon (new nursing mother who asked how she could improve her breastmilk supply) on yesterday's post.
First off, weldone mama, you are doing a great job, breastfeeding is no joke, feels like a full time job especially the first few weeks - months.
Straight to the point, the easiest, and most trusted way to get your milk flowing is to increase the demand on your breast aka, breastfeed/pump very very frequently (I know it's crazy hard but that's how it works), your body will most often produce only the quantity it thinks you need, so if you've been breastfeeding every 4- 6 hours before now, start doing it every 2-3 hours, that way, you're telling your brain/body that you need it to give you more milk, be consistent with him and watch your supply increase in a few days to a week.
Secondly, drink a lot of fluids, preferably water, .target about 3Litres of water daily.
These 2 worked like magic this time around for me and for every single one of my friends that gave birth after I did who I gave this advise.
See ehn, with my daughter (born 2020), I spent nothing less than 400k on stuff like breast pumps, several lactation cookies, all sorts of drinks, drank pap like it was going out of fashion, yet, I couldn't breastfeed her exclusively.
With my son that just turned 1 (I'm still breastfeeding him), I decided to give this demand/supply thing a try, and it worked wonders!! I couldn't even drink pap like I wanted this time around because I had no access to it, so stuck to just water and breastfeeding frequently, and that was all, I still have a freezer stash of pumped breastmilk (just for you to know how well I got milk this time around), I read a lot about it and almost turned to a lactation consultant sef.
Give this a try and see how it goes (I won't lie, it's hard, in between wanting to sleep and all, it could be tempting to just give up and go the formula way, but if breastfeeding is what you want, try this).

Good morning fam,as a farmer the holidays are over and here's a concise daily routine on my vegetable farm(pumpkin or ugwu):
ReplyDelete1. *Early Rise*: Wake up before sunrise to maximize daylight. Have my breakfast to fuel the day.
3. *Field Inspection* Get to my farm,check plant health, identify pests or diseases, and assess water needs.
4. *Irrigation* Water the crops as needed, using a drip system.
5. *Harvesting*: Pick mature vegetables, ensuring they're handled carefully to prevent damage and pack harvested vegetables for market or delivery. This operations are carried out after four days interval
Record Keeping is very essential,update farm records regarding harvest, pest control measures and other activities for the day.
Wrap up the day's work, strategize for next day, and ensure all tools are put away. Get a rest for the next day's tasks.

2... ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity.
3... Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
4... Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
5... Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
6... CompTIA PENTEST +
7... Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP).
8... GIAC Security Operations Certification (GSOC).
9... Certified SOC Analyst (CSA).
10. Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
11... Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
The last 4 certs,they don't comb hair anymore because hmmm.🤯🥶🤬🤑
