Former Brazilian football star Hulk, 38, has married Camila Angelo, the niece of his ex-wife, Iran Angelo, in a lavish religious ceremony held at the Diocesan Cathedral of Our Lady of the Conception in Campina Grande, Brazil.
The event featured opulent decorations, including roses and chandeliers, and was attended by close family and friends.
Hulk and Iran were married for 12 years and have three children together. Their marriage ended in 2019, and shortly thereafter, Hulk began a relationship with Camila. The couple initially married in a civil ceremony in 2020 to facilitate Camila's visa while Hulk was playing in China. They have since welcomed two daughters, Zaya and Aisha.
The relationship has sparked controversy within the family. Iran's sister, Rayssa, publicly criticized the union, describing it as a "cruel betrayal" and expressing that their late mother would have been unable to bear such a situation.
Despite the familial tensions, Hulk and Camila proceeded with their religious wedding ceremony. Hulk shared photos of the event on Instagram, expressing his love and commitment to Camila.
Hulk has had a distinguished football career, earning 49 caps for the Brazilian national team and playing for clubs such as Porto, Zenit Saint Petersburg, and Shanghai SIPG. He currently plays for Atlético Mineiro in Brazil.
