Court Stops FRSC From Impounding Vehicles With Faded Number Plates
The Federal High Court in Lagos recently ruled that the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) can no longer impound vehicles with faded number plates or penalize their owners. The ruling came after a lawyer, Chinwike Ezebube, filed a suit against the FRSC, arguing that since the FRSC is the sole designer and producer of number plates in Nigeria, it should be responsible for their durability.
