Bride Allegedly Poisons Food Served At Her Wedding Reception...

Why will a Bride poison the food at her wedding reception?
A joyous occasion has turned into a tragedy in Jahun Local Government Area of Jigawa State after a bride allegedly poisoned food served at her wedding reception.

The incident left the groom critically ill and claimed the life of one guest.
Eyewitnesses allege that the bride’s actions may have been motivated by a personal vendetta which no one explained....
The Police Public Relations Officer for the state, Shi’isu Adam, confirmed the incident on Friday and revealed that an investigation is underway.
He says that the bride and another female accomplice have been arrested in connection with the incident and both are being interrogated by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Jigawa State Police Command.

  1. She's probably an underage bride or it's a forced marriage. Running away from home would have been a good option.

  10. Gives the feel of some forced marriage business. Anger can take ppl to some extreme places. Sometimes ppl have made peace with death and don’t have one fck to give. Please let us not push ppl to their limits, some folks have a living fire breathing dragon inside of them that nobody needs to come out.

  15. Might be a child bride or a forced marriage. Those two are very common with that part of the country.

    1. Same thought. child's marriage is common there. I know one that brought his new wife to city. A young girl I'm sure that is not up to 18years. Everyday she will be shouting disturbing the neighborhood that she wants to go home.
The husband kept begging and promising her all sorts. She woke up one morning and was about to escape before her husband caught her. Everybody was begging her she didn't want to listen to anybody even the husband couldn't hold her. She ran to the police station, it was from there her husband sent her back to her family.
Forced marriage doesn't end well .

  19. Are you sure she wasn't forced into the marriage? The things I saw while in the North concerning underage marriages...hmmmm 😩 In all she didn't do well 👎

  20. No justification.
Why (if at all) did she not target the people (most likely her parents/family) forcing her before the D-Day. She should do the longest time/sentence for her crime if found guilty after a trial. A very wicked monster heart bride.
