ReplyDeleteI have never asked for financial assistance for years now God has been Faithful. Everyone ask me for money. I hardly borrow money. Will give you and ask not to pay back if I have it or say no if i do not have it. I only borrow to my sisters. I I learnt the hard way. I borrowed money to a "good" friend who needed help with her child. Madam stop calling me and that was how friendship of many years ended. I never even asked her the money but she just stop calling. Fortunately it was something i did not mind loosing. I do not mixed relationship with money. I know someone that will borrow from Peter to pay Paul and borrow from Paul to pay Peter. I have help her several times. Some people you borrow money too when they need it desperately, na you go turn turn be bad man when you ask. Money and people, Me am careful. I stopped borrowing money years ago. I even gave someone money years ago when her and her husband moved to a new area and were struggling. I over heard a conversation of her telling someone I was manipulating her by giving her money. When i heard that it was painful. Someone I saw as a sister and friend. Guess who sent me a text asking for money during Christmas HER. I just looked and ignore. Am not trying to be proud, growing up we struggled and I understand when I see others struggling. But am starting to mind my business. Because some people are very ungrateful.
