I totally disagree, school no be scam.I understand the tough situation in Nigeria has made some of us doubt whether going to school is really worth it.Beyond the cliches,School/Education has the power to transform lives, it can sharpen your mind and brain, enabling you to think critically, solve problems creatively and make good decisions.If school is scam, why do parents eargerly drag their 2year olds to school instead of letting them play at home.

ReplyDeleteWhen I got admission, I went to my then wicked and horrible uncle (Dad is late) to tell him I will be going back to school. I didn’t ask him for money because I knew he wouldn’t give me. My cousin already gave me.
He said to me “ look at T (our neighbour then) she is working in NEPA but can’t afford an iron.” She was always borrowing our iron. “if you like go to ala bekee I don’t care. some people will spend 20 years in Ala bekee and still come back to push truck.”
None of his children went to school and now they are all struggling and he is regretting it. Sometime ago they had a police case and none of them could write a statement.
Please send your children to school. Even if they don’t get a job, it will help them with rational thinking and problem solving skills.
