ReplyDeleteYes, some people call on God like everyday when they needs His help on a pressing need but once their request has been met, they tend to not maintain that relationship anymore.

Many people tend to "forget" God when they get what they pray for, in that, if they have been praying before, they might stop praying. If they have been thanking God before, they might stop praying. They begin to act like they don't or never needed God.

ReplyDeleteIt is living in sin that makes people forget God. Ignorance makes people live foolishly. I don't need to remind anyone here that being in Christ is different from church going. You can want God for His hands. What He can give you and not His person. No wonder most of us till date still confess Him with our lips while our lifestyles is far from Him.
