He dated Annie briefly before meeting Vien Tetsola and he gave his all to Vien. Annie had the option to leave despite breaking up with her but she persisted. When Vien left, he moved to Pero and Sumbo. Later he reconciled with Annie and she quickly got preggy with her first daughter.
DeleteAs much as I would love to come hard on 2baba, I can't because Annie chose to stay and destroy herself. All others left and he married her out of pity. I wish he will show that empathy by standing by her till she heals but he too is damaged. They both need healing and therapy.

When your friends were taking flight from lagos to abuja to come assault your husband, you didn't enter rehab. Your husband lay on the floor bleeding and you denied him access to help. Security had yo break the door down.

ReplyDeleteThis is heartbreaking. I understand what both Annie and 2baba are going through. I was once married to a drug addict who people believed was a saint. Like Annie, we dated for 11years before we got married. That man nearly sent me to rehab. My only grace is I do not take alcohol, smoke or do drugs, but I was depressed. He sold all our properties and withdrew all my money because he has my pin. I walked away to save myself like the prodigal son in the bible. Went on to have a doctorate degree while he is in and out of rehab. Annie is not alone, she will be strong if she is willing sending prayers and love to Annie and 2baba.

You can't deal with an addict. You are risking your life living with them in the same house because they can kpai someone in order to get money to buy drugs. They will drain one financially, physically, mentally and spiritually. Tuface has extremely tried Living with her all these years.

It’s two women, single women at that, who are there with her to help her during this time of trials and tribulations. And it’s probably her mum who is taking care of the little ones. Even ten or twenty years later it can all run aground. Secure your network, have your support system in place. Don’t isolate yourself today because you think you have it made. Only God is unchanging, everyone and everything in this earth changes.
