  1. Heavenly Father, we come before you this Sunday morning with humble hearts. We acknowledge that we are sinners in need of your grace and mercy.
Lord we come before you seeking renewal in our minds, bodies, and spirits. We ask that you fill us with your peace and mercies, and help us to let go of any burdens that are weighing us down in Jesus name πŸ™
As your word reminds us in 2 Corinthians 4:16, Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. Thank you Lord, for your love and grace are always available to us in Jesus name πŸ™

  2. Football is indeed a game that brings mixed emotions. Matches across Europe yesterday brought diverse results. Man City drawing against Crystal Palace just showed that this City team won't win the league and should struggle to solidify a top four finish if other teams are business-mined. How about Barcelona? Conceding a 94th minute equalizer, Hansi Flick's red card against Betis and a 3-0 win for real madrid against Girona continues to heap pressure on Flick and his team, the early season form has waned. For United, no one ever saw Man United loosing at home to Forest last night, it's just a mess at the theater of dreams. @paris, thank you for yesterday's update on the Everton vs Liverpool fixture, I didn't know till when I was set for the match. @Paris, @Cynthia and all united faithfuls, our hearts and thoughts are with you all. Personally, I just think a good number of the players should be shipped out for a more better, talented footballers who are ready to play with passion and grit. A truck load of these current crop approaches each match with some much lethargy. Here are the fixtures in today's matches in the EPL.

    Tottenham vs Chelsea
    Fulham vs Arsenal
    Leicester vs Brighton
    Ipswich vs Bournemouth

    1. Natural law is dealing with City. After the highs of the past years, law of diminishing returns has set in. Basic mistakes that were unthinkable last season is riff now at City. Crystal Palace, Southampton, Tottenham and Liverpool have always been hard mathes for us. With the drop in form, it's only a matter of time before these clubs start coming for their pound of flesh. We will struggle to finish in top 4. Why City players that were know to.play 1-2 passes now pass ball like Maguire of Man U making the opponent guess destination of the pass their by killing attack by with holding the ball more than necessary.

Barca believes they have players, sure they do but you don't win trophy ls with academy players. A little bright spark here and there but experience still matters. I see Real Madrid winning La Liga. By the way, Mbappe was a super star at PSG but the super in his star has been diminished at Real. Struggles. King of off side out of desperation.

Man U kills career. From second coming of Ronaldo to Casemiro and to world cup winners. I hope Amorim's white is not going to be stained there. Struggling City beat Forest 3-0 but Forest beat Man U at Old Trafford. Interesting.

EPL is between Arsenal and Liverpool, in my opinion.

    3. I wasn't expecting United to win at home cos these guys won't stop surprising us the fans in a sad way.

I just feel for the coach at this point cos he's not the issue, these boys are not serious.

      Delete
    4. @baltika, I agree with the diminishing return part though. Taking a look at how Walker, Bernardo, Foden and even Grealish plays these days, you can't but agree about the diminishing returns. I am still at lost as to why DE Bruyne isn't featuring for an entire 90 mons ever since he came back from injuries. I also agree with the barca side as well. Flick is indeed facing so much pressure now, I am sure he didn't see this coming after winning his first 7 or 8 matches. Mbappe isn't equally helping himself as he's being selfish with the ball 9 out of ten times. Don't you think Chelsea has slipped into the conversation of who wins the tittle considering City's stuttering form, United's collapse and Arsenal's inconsistencies and unreliability?

      Delete
    5. @TEEJAY, we all have different ways of understanding football. Chelsea players in my opinion play more of gra-gra football with every player seeing himself in the mode of the golden era of first Mourinho stint players. I think current Chelsea team is under the radar. Focus is on City's loss of form, Liverpool's consistency and how Klopp was quickly forgotten, Arsenal's never-say-die attitude and their scoring through set pieces than Chelsea and her legion of buys in the last transfer window. Do you know some Chelsea supporters don't know some Chelsea players? This season's EPL? No, but CL is guaranteed. No disrespect to Chelsea as a club and her supporters.

      Delete
    6. @Galactico no one can go against nature as that's the case with City. The only reality is to watch it pass while wishing much damage is not done. The loss in confidence is high. Minimal mistakes are common now. Videos of City having forty something un interrupted passes before scoring goals against different teams are on YouTube but these days, we can't string 5 passes comfortably. Some times, ball is given to opposing players willingly that leaves you asking what's going on?

Keviin De Byune has become injury prone and with old age, he's being managed. He is our talisman and can't be allowed to stay injured for long. You saw his impact in the win against Forest? In the CL match against PSV, he was substituted and PSV equalized. He can not play defensively like Rodri but he can initiate attack and finish it.

Difference between Chelsea and Barca is the "I won't allow you pass me" Chelsea players engage in. And again, less attention on them. Tottenham should be in the mix but their level of inconsistency is compared with that of Eric Ten Hag era at Man U

Chelsea, in my opinion, no. CL, yes. Their time of reckoning will come. Advantage they have is less injuries (no excuse) compared to other top 4 contenders from lack of playing too many matches outside of EPL matches.

City's dip in form should make way for teams to flex their muscles. It's like Serena Williams going out in the quarter finals of Grand Slam. It means different winner is expected and at the moment, in my opinion, Arsenal (smelt blood) with City's absence and Liverpool claiming rightful heir to the throne.

      We shall see.

God's Testimony: You Have Eternal Life!!
    1 John 5:11.

"God’s testimony is that you have eternal life because you have Jesus Christ. You don't have to feel it to know you have it. All you need is God's testimony that you already have it. If you don't accept His testimony, then you make Him a liar, and God cannot lie."

"Therefore, even now, say with confidence, “I have eternal life because I have the Son of God!"

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I rejoice in your testimony that I have life because I have Jesus Christ. I walk in this consciousness today as I manifest your divine nature and power. I’m full of life, health and strength, and I live victoriously because eternal life is at work in me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

      Delete
    2. Stella it is simple. We buy cash from Filing stations, market women or any business that has alot of cash. Some people come to deposit.

      Delete
    3. Stella,

The truth is that bankers are the ones responsible for this whole cash scarcity. Most of the POS terminal you see are own by bankers including the microfinance banks. So they're trying to make their business(POS) boom. They will gladly make cash available to a POS operator than a customer. At best they will only pay 50k at the counter.

ATM are not dispensing anymore and the ones that are dispensing won't give more than 20,000. The scarcity will hit harder in few days time as I was reliably informed.

I do buy cash of 100,000 at the rate of 700 naira for my operation. Then 1000 for 150,000.

A lady has promised to be giving me cash even up to 300,000 and above provided I can transfer the equivalent to her account without a charge. Hopefully by next year once I raise enough money, I will work with her. It will be a win win for the both of us. I won't charge her for the transfer and she won't charge me for the cash.

She's a manager in a mega filling station.

How can you raise enough money when you don't cut down on spending, you have started cooking what you did not eat in the last few months instead of building your business. They even said you bought a gas cooker. Money that you should use to boost your business (if it exists).

      Delete
    10. Anon 09:01,

Are you really okay? So I shouldn't eat cos I got a business giveaway here to use for business? Let me ask you. Was I starving before the giveaway? Was I paying my bills or running expenses before the giveaway money?

Why do you people keep spewing trash here all the time and giving unfounded narrative. Why is my own giveaway a thorn in you people's body?

So someone far away in Ibadan came up to say I bought a Gas cooker @200,000 and you all run along with it. Common sense isn't common after all. Someone who don't live with me neither did I disclose such information to anyone and you guys capitalized on it.

I got my giveaway second week of November on the 13th precisely and my Gas cooker was bought first week of November even before the giveaway came. So where's the correlation it was giveaway money I bought it with? Simply cos I responded to Dogedity's comment when he commented on a brand gas cooker he bought that's not of quality which I also disclosed I bought as well. It automatically means I bought mine @200,000 and also with giveaway money.

Honestly, there must be a new strain of weed in the market.

That's the charge now. There's an increment on POS transactions as a result of the government taxation. Moniepoint especially. I got the memo via mail last week. So POS operators are now increasing their charges.

One thing people don't know is that calculation. If your house rent is 500k and you spend 30k every month on transportation (360k yearly on transport), the stress too is there, it would be better to get a house of 600k yearly rent that is close to your place of work where you spend 10500 monthly on Transport (126k). You end up saving 134k per year and save yourself from stress and risks involved in the long journey to and fro your work place.

That's one of the things I love these new generation churches for, they organise programs and parties to boost the social lives of their members.
They have Valentine's party, Easter party, Children's Day party, Independent Day party, Christmas party and Father Christmas, etc.

    3. I didn't like parties as a child , this introvert lifestyle started from childhood lol.
Please let her enjoy her party and time out.

    4. I loved parties when I was younger with little or no responsibility. Now when I think of how much I will pay for aso-ebi, sewing, shoes, bag, jewelry, transport fare, gift, etc, I just pass.
It's her time, let her enjoy. Adulthood na scam

  38. Luck 5:7, And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship that they should come and help them. And they came and filled both ships, so they began to sink.

There are moments in life when you hit a low point. You have tried all you know. You have followed the script the best you can. Your prayers seem not to reach the ceiling not to talk of heaven. Your praise seems boring even to yourself, how can God accept it? Your joy is drained so how can you draw waters from the well of salvation? Have you been there?

Peter got to that rock bottom one night after a very unfruitful labour. Then Jesus showed up, used his boat to preach and gave him an instruction to launch into the deep and let down his nets. Luke 5 tells the story how Peter reluctantly obeyed and the miracle that followed.

Often we dwell so much on Peter and his catch in this encounter that we forget “the other boat”. There were many boats on that lake that day. They were at different levels of frustration. Jesus did not pick them out. The prophet came and yet he did not “see” your case.

They heard Jesus give Peter a clear instruction. Though God did not say anything to them, they followed Peter. See, there are times the Spirit will not move you, but you have to move the Spirit. There are times the prophecy will not be for you, but you have to key in and do what the prophet said the other fellow should do. So the other boat followed – without any instruction.

Guess what? When Peter made his catch the boat that followed reaped from his obedience. God deliberately gave Peter fish for two boats because the “other boat” had keyed in.

God honours faith put to work. Stop waiting endlessly for God to move on your behalf. It is time to apply the wisdom of the other boat. What God has done for one, he will do for two and for you.

    Happy Sunday everyone

I saw a story on Facebook where they switched someone's baby and handed her another family's dead baby as theirs. The name tag on the dead baby was an entirely different tribe.
Omo, I was shaking while reading.
I trust social media to drag that hospital to their senses.
Government hospitals with their plenty wahala.

I hope they get to the root of the matter and they get their own baby (whether dead or alive).
How can they bury another person's baby? Haba!

I'm praising my God in my house. He is everywhere.
I've been so weak since yesterday, let me rest. My children are awake. I'm deliberately cooking beans for them this morning, let them eat it very well and sleep so that I will sleep too. It will soon be ready.

    1. Give them enough beans, let them eat with bread if possible. Na sleep get them in this cold weather. You too should try and sleep.
