    2. When you send your teenager to university, make sure you ask them to cohabit, since you don’t know left from right.

I understand that some lose focus when they do, but I don't think it's anyone's business

    1. Only the business of those who knows the fornication and abortion that goes on with this. If you don’t support evil, it should be your business.

  3. Nigerians think cohabitation means back to back xes. Person wey dey go weekend visit dey see preeq pass cohabiting couples sef.

  4. It's morally and totally wrong. You send your kids to school, pay rent, buy food stuffs and text book but she will rather camp in a boy's house and be wearing asoebi up and down like couple.
Very few of them get married in the future.
Like they always say, "Relationship ends at the school main Gate"

    1. You are funny. The ones in hostel touching their same gender at night is better right?

Truth is the body's biology works fire between 15-27yrs or so. That's why they are your high fertile years.

If no be bad govt, they should all be married while attending those schools.

Somethings cannot really be stopped; but managed!

    2. 15:09, and they are trying to manage it that is why they are discouraging the whole thing. So what exactly is ur point? Because they are highly fertile, so makes it not morally bankrupt to go and be doing wife duties for a man that hasn’t married you? Finally, bad govt u say? Even the countries y’all think have gotten it together do not have all their 15-27yr olds married while in school. In fact some of those countries even have free education like Germany.

  5. Cohabitating is immoral. No religion condones it.

  6. Na the females I dey pity pass, doing wifey duties when they sent you to learn.
One in my hostel then, would wash clothes, cook, sweep everyday, still submit body and whenever she misbehaves, she go chop correct beating and he will lock her out of the room they are both sharing rent....

May my female children have sense not to do this rubbish.

  7. My colleagues lived this cohabitation life style very well when I was in school o, they call it couples life lolz. It's morally wrong and it mostly doesn't end well, I support this post.

  8. 1. I don't know if this post also refers to male and female flat mate who share common parlour( living room) but different bedrooms

    2. If the post is applicable in the western world or just in Nigeria setting

    3. Foreign universities have male and female share a flat, so does that also equal co-habitation?

    4. It's important we specify the culture in context. Male and female share flats abroad and not necessarily dating or in a relationship.

Let me drop this here. Sometimes we over flog issues.

    1. It is not sharing of flats, it simply means living together as a couple, in some cases they split rent.
The girl does wifey duties while the guy provides like dropping money for soup, foodstuff and furnishing of their room.

Most times they don't end up together in the future.

    2. Well understood Mariam bebe.

My point is that people can also assume flat mates are co-habitating. I have seen flat mates cook in turns, do laundry in turns and not couple. It is easy to term this cohabitation when we only live in Nigeria.

    3. Caren if you had read the post and looked at the flier before commenting you wouldn’t have made the assumptions u did. It is clearly written, ‘Students as husband and wife’ and even going by the picture on the flier/poster, it doesn’t in any way suggest ‘just flatmates’ whether in Nigeria or anywhr else.

    1. Cohabiting is not the best. There is no guarantee all will end well and if it doesn't, you feel used.

  11. I wonder if folks really know what the word evil means. A university, except for religious based schools should not be focused on moral campaigns, because everyone's morality is different. I have never cohabited with anyone but this campaign is just somehow. How are the hostels at the school, water quality and dependability, electricity, food supply, safety and security, quality of education and knowledge base of instructors, modernization of equipment and access for students? Has the school provided students with the tools and resources to remain focused on their academics and to have success? These are the things I want my school to be concerned about. That signage tells me that this school has issues to work out with their infrastructure, yet they are preaching on morals. Students paid for a quality education not to be preached at, everyone knows what a mosque or church is and how to find one. Just my take.

    1. Unfortunately for u, if u like be Albert Einstein II, if ur moral compass is broken, u go nowhere. Even the countries that threw away morality to the gutters and have all those things u listed up there in the school, shebi now their younger generation are going berserk, no morality, nothing. They can wake up to do anything they want. U can jump and skip the message, we would continue to preach morality and spirituality, if you like when u pay ur kids sch fees, tell them to go get a partner and cohabit with, no prblm.

    2. 17:09, so when in the history of time have ppl not done as they wished? When? Even in the heaven that many see as a perfect space we know perfection did not exist there. Are you and your morality going to be the one to make every human do and live as you wish and create your perception of a perfect world? Even God is not that ambitious when it comes to humans. But do your thing.

You may not have cohabited with anyone in university but you have your vices that some would consider immoral, and if not you, then your parents and some would view you as likely to be immoral because of their life choices. If we dig deep enough everyone can be painted with the immorality brush. If you want to focus on morality among students in universities that is your business to do so. I am concerned about what the school has to offer with the reason it is in business, and that is my business to do so.
