A young man was sentenced to be unalifed by hanging because he stole a fowl but Osun state governor Adeleke has intervened and the man will be granted Mercy.....
The Judge that handled the case must have a different mindset from mine because a man who is caught stealing a chicken should be given food!!

God bless the Governor for saving his life.
ReplyDeleteIt is well oo
ReplyDeleteHeartless judge I must say.
ReplyDeleteNeesolah
Really heartless!!!
DeleteI'm sorry but the Judge sounds like an educated illiterate, the ruling does not match the offence. If it were murder, I'd understand, but stealing... Nah!
ReplyDeleteWho send a man to the hangers because he stole a chicken?
Lawyers in the house, enlighten us, is there not a constitution that shows offences and consequences ?
Definitely an educated illiterate. Just wanted to end someone’s life just like that, he clearly lacks basic humanity and discernment. To think in 2024, a judge was willing to take someone’s life over something as trivial as this is appalling. I find it hard to wrap my head around this, or was it in a Sharia court. This just shows that education alone does not instil compassion, empathy and morality or common sense..
Delete*instill compassion, morality, and common sense* Sorry it’s all jumbled up at the end, that’s how confused I was when I was typing
DeleteGod bless you governor Adeleke
ReplyDeleteD judgement is too harsh na
Heartless judge. Check well he won't sentence criminals to death.
ReplyDeleteVery heartless. When you see people steal for food, it has become a difficult situation for them..
DeleteThank you Jesus
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking the chicken is a close relative of the judge. How else can his judgement be explained?
ReplyDeleteLmao...Doggedity u say wetin? Lol
DeleteThat man should thank God the governor intervened.

ReplyDeleteMonkey! You don't know stealing is BAD. Hence anyone caught stealing should be ready for its consequences regardless.
DeleteSo stealing should get u a death sentence? It will seem as though that u are the monkey.
DeleteWhat's with the Monkey calling ?
DeleteAnnon, You too do ooh.
Not me looking at Ewelewe walking freely with his 753 houses still unhabited at Lokogoma.😏
ReplyDeleteThis is an overcarriage of justice, the boy was a teenager who is on awaiting list for 14 years on the hangman's list. He stole the fowl from a police officer, abeg, na gold the fowl dey lay?
ReplyDeleteSeems like the judge had outstanding beef with the guy.
ReplyDeleteThank God for the governor's intervention.
And others that have done way worse gets lesser punishment or none at all. This judge must definitely have a personal beef with the said man😠
ReplyDeleteKilagbe...kileju situation, that means all our corrupt leaders are supposed to be sentenced for murder.
ReplyDeleteJudge isonu!
The leaders get money na. They will bribe their way out.
DeleteVery wicked judge, his or her identity should be revealed and made known.
ReplyDeleteOnly God knows how many innocent people he or she has handed such judgement. They might want to replace the pure guy with a rich man child.😔🥺
What a judgement, thank you my Governor for intervening on time. Thieves una don see am, next person may not be lucky.
ReplyDeleteIf this how they sentence people for petty stealing ashey i for don die tey tey. Me wey steal chicken for area like wetin. The judge na from hell.
ReplyDeleteTo think that boy was a teenager when he was sentenced and he has spent 14 years waiting!
