Hello iya Boys

ReplyDeleteWhat a sad incidence 🥺 I can imagine children struggling to get gifts & stampede. The Organisers should be
ReplyDeleteThis is really sad!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sad incidence 🥺 Imagine children struggling for gifts and the stampede. The Organizers should have done better pls, that's why I can't take my children to crowded events and parties. Me too have a phobia for overcrowded events 😨
ReplyDeleteMay their innocent souls rest in peace, amen 🙏
Adunni Ore.
DeleteWhat Could the Organisers have done differently?
They planned for 5, 000 Children Free. 7,500 Children turned up. You are Right not to take your Kids to Any free Events.
Any Event that is Free, I never Attend.
@Marie, the organizers shouldn't have allowed the extra 2500 children into the venue of the event, that is 50% extra. I want to believe the provision made was for 5,000 and probably additional 500.
DeleteMay God console the parents of the children that died in the stampede.
@ God's Favour. Yes.
DeleteI guess they didnt want to " Disappoint the Extra 2,500 Children.
May Our Good not Turn to Taunt and Hurt us.
I read that the event was scheduled for 9am but some were there as early as 5.30am. Some were reported to have jumped the fence.
DeleteMarie, I agree with you on one side o 😄 The side of parents allowing their kids to go uninvited to events. But those Organizers should have simply checked their invitees IV or registration code. My dear, children needs to be co-ordinated if not everywhere will be chaotic 🥺
DeleteOh dear Lord please take control...
ReplyDeleteGod! She never planned it to be so. My sincere condolences to her and the family that lost their children
ReplyDeleteSad one
ReplyDeleteWas it so difficult to insist the kids sit down before distributing the gifts? See yourself now. Some will even link it with rituals.
ReplyDeleteFirst thought that came to my mind
DeleteThey already linked it
DeleteGo Facebook and see the nonsense some of this people are posting.
DeleteOr even count them in 10s and usher them to a room or Conner to get their gifts and from there they go home. It was poorly organized.
DeleteChai, good intentions turned to another thing.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't meant to turn out like this.
Sorry, Queen Naomi.
Sorry to the mothers who lost their wards. Sincerest apologies😥
Honestly.. Her good has gotten her into trouble
DeleteHmmmmmn.
ReplyDeleteRIP to the deceased and may God console the famlies they left behind.
What a sad new
ReplyDeleteThe organisers should have done a better job in handling the kids
There is hunger in the land! Any event where food and giveaways are promised will be overcrowded. It was an unfortunate accident. May the souls of the kids rest in peace. Please, avoid any such events. That was how custom's discounted rice led to stampede and resulted in fatalities.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad. What was supposed to be fun brought pain and tears. God please comfort their families 😭😭😭
DeleteThe one that was discounted and not free o! God help us.
DeleteThis is very sad sad 😢
ReplyDeleteChai. this isn't sounding good at all My condolences

I tire!
DeleteIf the event had a much greater number of attendees than they had catered for it becomes their fault. They did not have staff to absorb an extra 2500 people so they should have called it off, ask the extras to leave, or reschedule for a larger venue and add more staff. They also placed their staff in an unsafe situation by asking them to work with an extra 2500 people. There is sense and then there is nonsense.
DeleteThis is a very sad news
ReplyDeleteSad news
ReplyDeleteThey didn't plan it well. They should have put bouncers to ensure there were no additional number of people after the required number was complete.
ReplyDeleteThey should have put securities in place to arrange the kids accordingly
They should have put first aid stands with competent medical personnel and also ambulance in place to cater to emergencies. Simple CPR would have saved some of the dead kids.
Lastly, rest in peace to the young souls, may God heal the ones hospitalized.
Amen
DeleteExactly! When it comes to events for children a greater emphasis on safety has to be put in place.
DeleteWhen I invite guests for dinner or a gathering I never purchase any food that is close to their expiration date and there is a higher level of hygiene that I observe, especially for ensuring no cross contamination and more rigorous and frequent cleaning. When I am cooking for myself and regulars at home I don’t do all that. Anyone planning an event must put into place strict safety protocols and ensure the safety of the attendees. Because it is free doesn’t mean you treat it anyhow or have the mindset that the people should be ‘happy’ or ‘lucky’ that someone wants to do something for them, you still run it like you would run a high paid event. It’s still people and especially children you must think of their safety on all sides.
Pay for adequate safety personnel, pay for organized spaces that create crowd control, pay for First Aid zones, fire and police presence. If all of that is going to eat into your budget, then seek grants from the government and petition for sponsors from the business community so you have a higher budget and can ensure a good space and good safety. Good intentions are not enough, the work must be done right!
It was not properly organized at all, thirty something children died just like that, it is very sad
ReplyDeleteMay their souls rest in peace.
ReplyDelete5,000 kids in a place is alot, they shouldnt have allowed the extra 2500.
It is well!
Very sad.
ReplyDeleteOh, may the souls of those kids rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteSo sad 😔
ReplyDeleteMay our good deed never turn to evil
ReplyDeleteSo sad
May the souls of those children rest in peace
I have a mix feeling about this.🧐😏🤐
ReplyDeleteMay we not land in trouble while trying to put a smile on other people's faces. I'm sure she will be beating herself hard and probably be regretting now that she shouldn't have done it. Too much hunger in the land! Too much!!! Anywhere there is free food or freebie, it will take a whole lot for it to be organized. Queen Naomi, may the Lord strengthen you at this time. I pray the and console the families affected.
ReplyDeleteAmen
DeleteThis is so sad.
