I am sorry that there will be no Blog awards this year ending but we may introduce it sometime in the new year...I dont have the energy to compile the different categories at all....
From next week, based on logisitics, Madam amebo corner will only be on Sundays.....

How is everyone keeping up.......As for me, the pain is reducing but i still have pains and have five stitched spots to deal with, cant explain what happened online....

Today they took out the ropes holding the wounds and its heaing well...I have lost appeitie for food and it hurts when i force myself to eat....

I looked in the mirror today and could not find me......Pain can change ones DNA honestly....

I will keep you guys updated as i heal but right now i am not in a good frame of mind and its better i am avoided to avoid quarell...LOL.....I do the LOL but it doesnt go far cos i cant laugh cos of pains....

MADAM AMEBO CORNER
Good daz Sdk, how is us? A very good friend of mine is in a mess, she was introduced to a guy abroad, she thought it's one of those IJGB flings but the guy said he's ready to settle down and he loves what he saw, but there's a problem, in this girl's family, they're suffering a few addiction issues, some na Igbo, some na loud but this girl own na licking of snuff (tobacco), young lady oo......

This guy saw her and fell in love immediately, the other time he took her out and she couldn't eat anything or drink because once she eats, the urge comes, it's that embarrassing, she can lick more than 10 times in a day------

According to their tradition, as some rites has been paid, she's supposed to go and spend few days in the guys family house with the guy, she doesn't know how to cope, I advised her to stop it, she's been chewing gum but she falls back in no time, she also complains of feeling this hotness underneath her feet and her palms,.......

She finally summoned the courage to go since it's inevitable, she tried her best to avoid being close to the man or have a close contact with any of his family, she wakes up early in the morning to do chores in the house, she talks less, everyone in the house believes she doesn't talk much, like she is a quiet girl....

On the last day, the man called her in for talk, she came, na so this Bros start, he finished her, told her that she smells like some old woman in the village, even with all her perfume and that her breath stinks too bad and he could perceive it from afar, he told her that the other day when she was spitting out the snuff, that he saw her and was so ashamed of himself for ever settling for a woman like her, he told her that the traditional marriage cannot hold that she needs to work on herself and stop the habit or he will call off the relationship, he told her that the only reason they will continue is because his family is tired of him dodging marriage and age is not on his side again, she came back with a broken heart and was full of tears yet she couldn't stop it, this girl don try taya, she said she went somewhere and they told her that it is spiritual, that her mom stole her friends husband and she cursed them, that she should go to her mom to take her to her friend to beg her, them never go, but am seriously worried about her, she cries most of the time...

So eating snuff is an addiction?so instead of soming the cigar, she eats the leaves?This is horrible....I pray she finds help

Please join me in congratulating BV Khaleesi on her graduation from a UK University.....The photos she sent were so nice but in that moment i chose to notice zeeone people standing behind her......lol

A big congrats to you Khally...You have always kept me updated right from University in Naija to NSYC to relocating, to getting married to everything else, I dont take your holding me in high esteeem for granted....

Story time:

I know a woman(Let's call her "Aunty")that works in one of the top ten multinational companies in this country (Naija). Her husband (Let's call him Bros") introduced her to his "Cousin". Cousin was at Bros and Aunty's wedding and even shared Souvenirs. When it was Cousin's time to wed, Aunty and Bros played a prominent role at Bestie's wedding.

Now, Bros and "Cousin" grew up in the same neighborhood and has been friends since Aunty can remember. Both families knew about their relationship but kept it coded from their spouses . So, Bros was always welcome at "Cousin's home and vice versa.

Sometimes, Cousin will come visiting during week days and as Aunty was getting ready to go to work, she will rush back and make meals for Bros and Cousin. Aunty trusted Cousin so much that, if she comes visiting and Bros was in the room, Aunty will usher her into the room and go find other things doing within the house or sometimes even go to the market.

All these activities was going on for like almost 15 years. Then the kids (Aunty's kids) started noticing things and will in turn inform their mum. The story was like anytime Cousin comes (during week days)visiting, they always stay in the room and nack...I no fit type again...cut long story short, alarm blow, DNA test for Cousin's kids revealed that 3 out of 4 of Cousin's Husband belongs to ....Bros! .
