Lagos State Govt Heads To The Supreme Court To Challenge Acquittal Of Dr Olaleye
The Lagos State Government is reportedly heading to the Supreme Court to challenge the acquittal of Dr. Femi Olaleye, the Medical Director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, who was initially convicted in October 2023 for allegely defiling his wife's niece and sentenced to life imprisonment. However, the Court of Appeal overturned the conviction in November 2024, citing inconsistencies in the prosecution's evidence.
