Ahead of future elections in the country, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has recommended the use of computer-generated voting slips by those who do not have the Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs. The Senate has urged the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Mr Nyesom Wike to stop further demolition of structures in the nation’s Capital Territory. According to the Senate, the FCT Minister can only pull down those structures ordered for demolition by a competent court of jurisdiction, pending investigation of its ad-hoc committee.
