  1. Person like me will not remove it ooo, unless they told her before time that they dont allow make up, if not they are very wrong to tell her to clean it up..

  2. Did she know the rules ? If yes, then she shouldn't have put on the make up. She could have opted for another church. If not, then they didn't try at all.

    1. No near some Anglican cathedrals for Enugu.
They warn about bridesmaids attire too.

You can't arrive looking embarrassingly naked.
      No way.

    1. This happened to one of my friend too, he was asked to cut his beard right there in the church premises as one of the grooms men ! Guy man did it to honor his friend …hmmm

    2. In both cases, the men made an effort. However, I can't comply with the request because it seems overly strict. There is nothing inappropriate about wearing beards, and there is no biblical justification for such a directive. I do wonder, though, why this issue wasn't addressed during the wedding rehearsals.

  8. So she doesn't know the rules or doctrines of her church

  9. Most of those people are wicked and the remaining ones hate women and men.

  10. Exactly how it ought to be.

Any form of indecent dressing or too much make up should be restricted from the gathering of the faithfuls.

    DOZZYBEST.

  11. Every church with their doctrine, if she knows why do it? Unless she wasn’t aware then the church will be completely wrong for doing that to her in her special day

That was how I was invited for a program some time ago, I got there from work…I was about entering when one usher just ran up to me to cover me up with wrapper saying they don’t wear trousers here , I told her I was invited but she wasn’t having it, I just give myself brain and bounce ..i never imagined some of these Pentecostal don’t wear trousers till now, i thought its orthodox churches who doesn’t…me I can’t go to church that doesn’t wear trousers abeg

    1. Imagine inviting someone for a program. Yet you pursue the person because of trouser?
What were they expecting that everyone will come with Iro and Buba.
Sometimes, I marvel at the overzealousness of my fellow Christians.

    2. This is how they will lose the souls that God has sent them to save all because of doctrines made by man.

  12. The way she's smiling while removing the makeup means that she knows the church doctrines but decided to do otherwise.

  13. If the church does not want makeup or indecent dressing then the bride should abide by it. Or rather go to a church that accept it

  14. This is reprehensible bs...

  15. Is she not a member of the church? Why did she wear makeup?

  16. Every church has their rules & to wed there you'll have to abide by those rules 📝
Maybe she's marrying a brother from the church...

  17. She should have done her wedding vows without the makeup and then get her face made-up to take pictures and reception party

  18. So you can only attend this church if you have pristine complexion. What of those with birthmarks, acne, burn marks, some kind of facial disfigurement who depend on makeup to give them peace of mind as they go about their lives, they cannot ever enter such a church. I just wish ppl would think beyond their own judgments. Not everyone who is doing something is doing it because of vanity or being worldly, some actually need it or they are forced to endure whispers and stares everywhere they go.

  19. Can never be me attending any Church other than Catholic.

Parish priests has enough on their hands to start worrying about bridal makeup .

  20. This church name must begin with “D”

  21. Haaaaaa well she knew before hand, it can't be me........ Me that make up to buy biscuits across the road will now not make up on my wedding day.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Was she not informed before the D-day? I'm sure she was but stubbornness will not allow some people. If you've identified with a denomination, then try to abide by its doctrine as long as it's not harmful in any way

  23. Ok nah, the church should continue..but the church name start from S or D😜

  24. l don't really judge people by their appearance, cos God looks at the heart which is more important than the outward show, but dressing modesty is a good thing anytime any day , l remember when Pastor Kumuyi went to preach somewhere in Abroad and majority of the congregation were women who were putting on trousers , immediately he sighted them in that attire, he decided to go back but the holyspirit ministered to him to go back and preach to them, becos those women were hungry for the word and that they are more righteous than he thinks..and he did exactly as he was instructed to do, and the ministration was awesome cos everyone was touched by God. So you see that God's ways are not our ways.

Also, whenever l listen to Women of faith song, titled
l'm treading in my sorrow, am treading in my pains,
Am ledding them down for the joy of the Lord.
l feel different within me, becos it's not ordinary song, it's inspired by the Holyspirit but those women were putting on trousers, so l don't condemn them, rather l appreciate God for using them to change lives.

Concerning the bride, she's lucky they only asked her to remove it. some will even cancel the whole thing.

    LICIOUS BABE
