ReplyDeleteAlmost all my friends find it easy to share their joy, problems, heartbreak with me (maybe it’s cos I’m an open book with them too).
I know the one that has a wandering dick for a husband, when she needs me to cuss him out with her, I’m there and she will still tell me when she’s forgiven him and beg me to help her manage him like that 😂 (I get choice). They are still together till date sha.
Every single of my friend that is or has TTCed shares their journey with me and I’m always free to ask about it.

ReplyDeleteEverybody's interpretation of loyalty is different. And there are all kinds and levels of loyalty. I lean more to being honest than loyal. I am not even loyal to myself so I can't claim that I am an overall loyal person. How many times I have been disloyal to God, knowing darn well what I was doing. I am very honest/trustworthy, but loyal...hmmmmm, still working on that. However, those I love, I love for life, they could be full of flaws, but if I love you that's it, your flaws won't matter unless they are decided evil. In that case, I will love you from a distance and pray.

ReplyDeleteI'm a loyal/trustworthy person. As someone who values discretion and confidentiality, I've found that people are drawn to my trustworthy nature. I don't even have to try, they just trust me instinctively. People feel comfortable telling me things and I'm committed to maintaining their trust. I stand by my values of loyalty, even in the face of disagreement. You can trust I will never betray your confidence, even if we are longer close as we once are.
