Actress Genevieve Nnaji Says Nigerians Are Nosey

Veteran Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji has opened up on how Nigerians derive joy in prying into one's private businesses and how men have it easier.

In a recent interview, she was quoted saying;
"Nigerians would mind your business even if you were not a celebrity so imagine if you were"
When asked if it's same for Men, she said;
"Men get away with a lot,you know?I think they are easier on men because they say it's a man's world and that's the truth to an extent and I realize that things won't change if we don't come together as one and that would be impossible if you don't do your bit as an individual to make a difference in someone's life and I as a person took it upon myself to start a foundation to help the girl-child especially the less privileged female children between the ages of 18-24 to find their footing in the world just because it's difficult for women sometimes".

    5. Chika, there is a difference between being "Nosy" and "Shouting", please.
      If BB had typed "Noisy", then the "Shouting" you typed would be applicable in this case.
      Nosy mean say, make person wan dey know wetin dey happen for other people life upandan.
      Hope you get?

  4. Genny respect yourself and your old age ok.. I don't want to disrespect you..

    What happens to boy child? What happens to less privileged boy child benefit the ages of 18-24? They don't deserve to be helped to find their footing too? Na men deserve to suffer bah? Na why them just dey attack Ezege when he was given giveaway, like how dare him a guy receive gift..

    Make Una dey think before talking.. Genny this is your last warning before I group you with people like Tiwa, Tonto, Toke and the rest

    1. U can start a platform that would strictly help the boy child within the age bracket u mentioned. The prblm is, u still expect that it is women that would organise this stuff for u.

      Woman? From where to where πŸ˜‚
      Is it delulu abi true true you no wise..
      Even the women and girl child empowerment, no be men dey fund most? Manipulated s!mps..
      They're the ones that enabled the laziness and entitlement mentality of these Nigerian women

    3. Dante, you can start yours too, for the boy-child. And you can get women (manipulated "Simbis") to fund yours too. Rather than crying upandan the blog like one whose biscuit was taken from him.

      Make person no talk truth again na because Una go feel attacked and call am woman hating..

      I'm a fair person,. If I get the NGO, I go help both genders fairly,. But Una want make e be only women, that's what's fair to you,. When one points out this unfair arrangement, Una go talk say the person hate women, when the reality be say na Una hate men and boy child.. you want make them suffer and make only una dey enjoy..

      Shame!!

    7. Dante, leave them alone. The boy child not trained remains untrained waiting in most spheres of life for the girl child well trained.

  7. Nigerians, nosey?
    Yes. Some are.
    On the other hand, only by interviews like this one some Nigerians still remember that Gene was once an actress in Nigeria or even get to know about her and her doings.

    Most women with means look out for only for the girl child.
    These well looked after girls become good women.
    Good women who live in a world, which has male not looked after.
    Any wonder chronicles from women full everywhere?
    Is it no better to look after children and bring all up to be better people?

    Flip it, women appear to complain too much about discrimination. It appears some do it for attention and sound counts.
    Give some women equal share with a male person.
    They complain why the male person was given a share.
    Take the male person's share and distribute it among women.
    They will still complain about why the male person was given at all in the first
