    1. Nigeria does not like truth that is why all the institutions have been compromised....Look at the manner he was 'arrested' that is if you can call it an arrest....Even Lawyer is deprived of his human rights...Most times I wonder why Law is even practiced here when we behave like people living in Bedlam.....He who alleges should forward with evidence....Nigeria is not worth sticking out your head for....If you have the means, Japa....But one day na one day...

  2. Dele is well grounded in law and knows better before putting this out. He has his facts and records to back his words.

I see nothing wrong in his book to warrant an arrest let alone detention. Didn't OBJ published a book and mentioned names? Why wasn't he arrested by the people he mentioned? The people Dele is talking about just gave credence to his story. If you are aggrieved over a defamatory remark, the best is to sue and not arrest, intimidation and detention using state power.

Nigeria indeed is a lawless country and never a sane clime.

    2. If he has no facts and proof of his accusations and went ahead to do this, then he should pay for the character assassination and face the consequences of his act.

I might be wrong but I feel the allegation is weighty and he couldn't have just put out those words if there wasn't any proof to back his allegations. Let justice prevail.

      Let's see how it goes.

    3. Let me also add this. It's not something new that Judges are being bribed by lawyers or wealthy individuals to traverse justice. It was on the full glare of Nigerians in a live national broadcast during the last Senate valedictory session where a known northern senator (name withheld) openly disclosed how his friends(senators & political elites) got help throigh his wife who was a serving appeal court judge.

We all heard him said that. Isn't that what Dele is trying to pass out in his book? My only worries is if he has a concrete evidence on his allegations.

  3. The young man really stepped in it. The veracity of his claims may be hard to prove. If this gets to the supreme court, I find it hard to imagine they will be sympathetic to him. He outrightly accused them of being for sale after all. If he can't provide evidence and get that evidence upheld, he is cooked. They will throw the book at him.

    1. Even with evidence he still won't get justice. Nigeria is systematically corrupt and structured in a way that the common man will always be at the mercy of his oppressor. Isn't it Nigerian judiciary system again, where technicality and twisting of the laws can be used to judge a case rather than its merit. Remind me the title of the book again. There lies the answer to the truth in this matter.

    1. Watch his videos on YouTube,he's been long coming even as his arrest isn't outrightly proper.

Why his judgement was quickened smells corruption.
Now Twitter churen are threatening fire and brimstones.

  5. Defamation of character is the act of communicating a false statement about someone that harms their reputation. It can be done in written form (libel) or spoken form (slander).
To prove defamation of character, a plaintiff must show that: The statement was false, The statement was intended to cause harm, and The statement caused actual harm.

In this situation, is the Aare guilty of what he was accused of? if yes, then it's not defamation. It could only be termed that if the statement made by Dele is false.

  6. If what he said were true, they should go and park to one corner and sanitize the judicial system.
