    2. Please quit it with the feigned hypocrisy and face the crux of the matter. If this was not a virtual space, won't the people on this blog have trampled Stella into the great beyond? Are many not harassing her directly or indirectly for their real God, mammon which they feel they are entitled to?

Even when rice was 15k a bag, Nigerians were unruly, disorganized, uncaring, ungrateful and unserious with their lives .

These are the same clowns that will tell God to give their helpers insomnia so he/ she can bless their lives and the very next minute, throw away that same life over free sachet water, a seat in the bus, or few more steps to cross properly at a zebra crossing. Every time they see anything free or on discount, they go out of their way to ridicule themselves in ways that would make actual refugees blush.

Which year of your existence have you heard Nigerians expressing satisfaction with the price of rice imported at a discount (with subsidized dollars) or petrol (also discounted with massive foreign loans)? When have they shown any form of gratitude for the little that this poor nation with a humongous population has done for them? When have you seen them queue of their own volition? How many have curbed the urge not to litter or disturb with noise? They litter the roads, clog the drains, drive like they are suicidal, breed like rats, eat like gluttons, actively seek out laws to break, waste precious time on frivolities of bigotry, volunteer the little they have gathered back to the ether by importing even the basics and refusing to be productive.

Nigeria has over 200 million children. If you decide to throw away your destiny or that of your children over rice, na spanner drop.

The boy born without a silver spoon fed on palm nuts and water and went on to have a stellar career in public service and the creative world.. The boy who lost his father early and was cheated by his master later became a board member for ones of Nigeria's largest banks and a car dealer of repute. A former US taxi driver is the telecoms billionaire today but because a bag of rice is whatever amount, you have offered yourself to die?

What special mass was said for those who threw away their freedom health or life for satin/ mint 5 naira notes/ blackberry/ George / triumph motorcycle/ Alcatel/ Peugeot 504 etc etc

    1. Population control is one of the main problems of Nigeria but u people are not ready for that truth. Ordinary Detty December and everywhere is gridlocked. There are too many people in that country n not enough resources to go around . But continue lashing n breeding like dogs

  4. This is not hunger any more. It is called greed and laziness. When you expect someone else to cater for your needs, it is high level of irresponsibility. The people who organise these events are concerned but the people they are concerned about are irresponsible.
How can you not wait online to be served because you see food items. Kilode. The government should put embargo on give aways for now. This is the 3rd one in a week

    4. It is hunger dear. This Christmas give away have been happening for years yet this kind of deaths and stampede has not occurred. I was just asking my mom how she use to collect all those things she normally gets in the village considering what is happening now, She said, wards head use to write names prior to the events and give to the organizers, they won’t give you a bag if your name is not there. Imagine if it is now, some hungry people that don’t even live around that place will crash the event and jump the organizers. You will be thinking the organizers were not prepared yet they have been organizing these give away and fun fairs for years and never had issues. It all boils down to hunger. I think all the philanthropist needs to restrategize on how get their gifts across to people. They can use various smaller smaller groups in the Christian bodies and communities. And schools, like you must provide the name of your child that attend that school to the school or to the religious group you belong. Share all the gifts into small small groups.

That was how RCCG organized a food fest at Karu that year. All the aboki okada blocked everywhere causing so much chaos. It's only during giveaway they tolerate Christians and church. Nonsense .

  6. God, what is the meaning of all this?
This government have not done well at all, the hunger in the land is too much, see how many people have lost their lives in past few days??

I know for a fact that it is not easy to go among multitude and scramble for food but for condition.

I'm so unhappy how the circumstance of Nigeria has made alot of people lost their lives.

  7. With the recent death through stampede, this has made philanthropics like Blord to restrategise his Christmas giveaway to the people of Anambra state.
May their souls rest with the Lord.

    3. This hunger you are confessing is your expectation. Without this rice, they will survive as they have been surviving for the entire year. The evil greed these people have of the problem. The ego of the givers who won't put their foot down and give in a way the right hand won't know what the left is giving, coupled with the wickedness of those who claim to need this rice has led to lives cut short.

Even amongst beggers, they have associations and committees they have organized themselves into. How much more churches and other groups. "Make them see me" and "I no day take eyes see rice" mindsets coming together to harvest lives. Sad!!

  9. There is hunger in the land. Holy trinity is one of the biggest parishes in Abuja yet the crowd was beyond their control. May God grant eternal rest to the deceased.

  10. Yesterday was Ibadan. Today is Abuja and Anambra. We are talking about over 120 Nigerians dying because of food. This is not just right. Government should compel a suspension of any free food distribution program away.

  19. APC you have blood on your hands and you will answer for your crimes. You took a growing nation into deep retrogression like never seen before cos of your greed, wickedness and incompetence. You made so many young ones flee their nation and go start afresh in foreign lands because you ate their future. For those left behind, you kill with hunger. You are shallow, power hungry and have no depth. Now families are mourn when they should be celebrating. You have murdered sleep and shall sleep no more.

    2. Stop these ignorant comments. Even during the PDP era, there was same level of hunger. If EluuPee had even won, it wouldn't have been different. So in summary, it is not a party issue. It is a Nigerian issue - wicked and evil-minded populace. If most of you sanctimonious BVs have opportunities to be in govt, you will steal more than the ones there now.

    4. So, Nigeria was a very prosperous nation without any poor or hungry until May 29, 2023.
      Keep living in delulu.
As a nation we are paying for the wrong decisions and non-action of past governments in taking critical decisions about our economy, the civil servants and others Nigerians also contributed to this by the corruption going on at all levels, we all just like pointing fingers to the FGN, even non performing state governors join to abuse the FG, Believe anything else if it makes you happy.
Good thing is that APC, PDP and LP candidates all said during the campaign that they will remove subsidy from day 1 and same with FX subsidy.
