INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD
When i was growing up, I watched a show called ''Kids Say the Darndest things'' by Bill Cosby. On this show, kids were asked questions, and their honest and unfiltered responses were hilarious.
My kids are growing and becoming more observant and vocal, they are beginning to express themselves more and they just say what’s on their mind without thinking, it’s refreshing and funny but also as a mom I have to teach them to try to filter their thoughts.
I don’t think I have made any progress so far, but I will keep talking and giving the glares and eye signs knowing that one day, they will catch up.
Some weeks back, we went to a photo studio, and my boy blurted out loud that the place had a lot of rats. I glared at him and gave him the “ will you keep quiet look” before he said more things. I actually didn’t see any rats, but while the owner stepped out for a minute, this young lad pointed out several rat glues cleverly hidden around the studio.
I was impressed with how quickly he observed that, and now i am at the phase of teaching them that you don’t just blurt out everything you think.
The other day, my other boy complimented me, telling me I looked beautiful, but my hair was too rough. I was actually losing my corn rows, and half of it was undone.
I really don’t want to shut them down the way I was shut down as a child , I want them to be free to speak with confidence but also with empathy and kindness.
Like I said, I haven’t figured it out yet, but it’s a learning curve for me and the kids

DeleteI have been in deep thought after I did some research and found out that as at last year 2023, the total number of Equatorial Guinea women were placed at 833 thousands plus. That's 0.81 million and a man decided to sleep with 400+. About half of the total women population in the country.

If actually the 400+ women allegedly slept with is true, then he probably slept with every man's wife in that country. The only way men will reduce or stop cheating is when women react to cheating the way men do.

Bv Fidel, are you truly in Portharcourt? Cost of sewing will be high for any good tailor there o. Here in Oyo state, I wanted a male tailor to make two uniforms for my son as I was busy and also I do not sew male clothes. This male tailor wanted to sew each uniform for 15k, the two for 25k last price. Note that I bought materials including zip and buttons. So workmanship for simple shirt and shorts is 25k? I was expecting to hear like 15k for the two sets. I begged him for 20k, he refused.
Last last, I had to go on YouTube and made the uniforms by myself.
Now I have reviewed my own prices. No more job of 3k. My workmanship now starts from 5k for the smallest sewing.
