This ruling stems from Hundeyin's 2022 publications on platforms such as Substack and Twitter (now X), where he alleged workplace misconduct by Northcott during the production of the Sex for Grades documentary. Hundeyin claimed that Northcott had exploited his position to favor Emmy-nominated journalist Kiki Mordi over another contributor, Oge Obi, and accused him of soliciting inappropriate favors.
The court dismissed these allegations as unsubstantiated and harmful.
The judgment, delivered in October 2024, also criticized Hundeyin's refusal to remove the defamatory content despite prior court orders. His actions, including an online campaign targeting Northcott, were deemed aggravated, significantly worsening the reputational and emotional harm caused to the BBC journalist.
The court mandated Hundeyin to retract the claims and issued additional remedies under the UK Defamation Act
If he will learn after the sanctioned sef🙄
ReplyDeleteHe debunked it saying not only £95k but £95m.
ReplyDeleteHappy this is a UK court; this is how he goes about slandering people and making ridiculous claims against other Nigerians without any reasonable proof, but his supporters ignorantly hail and claim he is always correct.
ReplyDeleteLet's see how he would defend himself in this case.
APC supporter spotted
DeleteThis reveal is so messy!

DeleteExactly, where's his proof? btw this man is too big to adhear to the instructions given to him by the court. Unfortunately this is Uk matter and not Nigeria. He will learn the hard way. I don't know why we humans can't use our brains and avoid some troubles glaring in our eyes like movies🙆😲
