My son have not started talking. He is 2yrs old. He only speaks all these jargon the kids speak, but he has never utter a meaningful word like Dad or Mum. He doesn't answer his name when you call. He hears, because when he hears the sound of cartoon or any sound, he finds where the sound is coming from.

ReplyDeleteSo, two days back I have been having issues with charging my phone, there was no stable light to charge for a longer time before it picks so I thought but yesterday morning they brought the light and after 3 hours my phone was still in 1%, I still thought it was probably my charger or cord, I borrowed the two from my neighbor in shop, it wasn't working still, i took it to those charging with fee maybe they would use a stronger charger after 1 hour, it was still in 1%.
ReplyDeletewe all concluded it's the charging port and in my head I felt, I wouldn't spend more than 2k.
On getting to the phone repairer, he changed the charging port, it still didn't work, changed battery to test it, nothing came up, at this point I knew I was about to hear the dreaded news about my phone.
The guy said, I have to change the screen, I said why; he sha explained somehow.
when he told me the price, I just sat back but I had no choice because I majorly use it to communicate with my family daily and they would have been panicking sef, for price update and checking bank app.
Meanwhile, I didn't know my child was already sick at school and they have been trying to reach me.
God so good after changing the screen, phone started working perfectly and as soon as I got back to shop I saw my son and his teacher dropping off bike, my mind went greeeeeeee, like what did he do, the teacher explained to me and when I touched his body, one could boil water on it...he said they have been calling me since morning but my phone was off, so she brought him to shop.
Two unforseen expenses, I was just tired yesterday.
He had temperature all through the night and mama didn't sleep at all.
I pray he gets better soon.

ReplyDeleteYesterday was an emotionalday for me,and it started since Tuesday. First off I lost 2 birds, Yesterday I lost 6.
There is this guy called my neighbour, he has not been around since January. Recently I started seeing him. So lastweek, he came to meet me and said that my cage was infront of his house. Thing is I did a big cage that could contain atleast 50birds. For someone like me who doesn't pass her boundaries I made sure this cage was no where near his frontage.
Before it would escalate, I reported to authorities, they came and said he was only looking for trouble. They judged it well and we moved, not knowing that this guy was not satisfied with what they said.
Someone told me discretely that they saw him fleet the cage at midnight. I dont want to act according to what I was told, they'd ask me if I saw him myself. I also noticed white powder around it, maybe it's all this ants powder.
The space here is so big that if u want to build a mansion on it, it will contain it conveniently, so how am I disturbing this guy. Is this one not environmental conspiracy? I have accepted my loss and I have moved on. Ti emi bawa ireti nbe. Meaning (once there is life, there is hope)

Laugh nearly choked me. Mummy if I have any of these things you mentioned won't you know?, Mum: ehnnn I know why you don't want to marry! cuz I know you're capable of taking care of home. You have everything... Then she continued calling me sweet names. As if she's trying to appease the Gods, in my mind I know all this sweet names na format 😃
My problem now is how to navigate this Dec without my mum reminding me 🤣

ReplyDeleteI was leaving my base to a next neighbouring town, I have to leave that early because of curfew,there was an unrest situation back then.
Everywhere was calm and the harmattan came much earlier that year, Naso I see this pregnant woman by the road side, struggling with her handbag but initially I wanted to over look the scene then because the Nigeria of today, people can easily get trapped.
As I moved closer to flash the headlight of my vehicle she was already "laying abi lying" on the floor in front of a petrol filling station....I parked &came down to her
She was groaning silently, I became confused because I never see that kind thing before, i tried to flag other vehicles on that major road no body gree stop for us.
Suddenly I noticed 💦 water coming out from her private pa&t and she was abit relieved and pointing towards her bag, then a passerby stopped &assisted me too, we carry her into the vehicle, we checked inside her beg, we found out rosary, roman catholic stuff and hospital card in her bag.
The other man joined" the passerby" as we sha took her to the hospital and she was attended to immediately, the water from her down was dripping heavily this time.
Time for me to leave the hospital, the nurses said I have to stay back because "she "pregnant woman just fainted due maybe HBp or soo
I over heard one of the nurses whispering" naso una go give woman Belle come dump her and run...
My mind: for real ? Hope I never enter trouble today?
The other man left already, the pregnant lady was on drip and treatment and slept for about 2hours, time for delivery of the baby reach...
My Lard see shout & screaming, scattering everywhere, saying all sort thing at that point ( i real felt for her) so na like this e be?by then her young sister has arrived but finally I got a call that she gave birth to a big baby boy after hours in that L room
I felt relieved and happy for helping her too
He was given one of my native name Toxxxxxxz lol
The boy is 2yearstoday, I just get off d phone with them
