This Corps member was allegedly beaten up by teachers at Government Day Junior Secondary School, in Ilorin, Kwara State. According to the story, she visited the school to collect her clearance letter but instead she was beaten up by the teachers because they were angry that she did not ''greet them properly''.

I don’t care what her offense was. If she did something wrong, the head of that school should be the one carrying out any form of punishment EXCEPT LAYING HANDS ON HER.

They did not do well but as a youth corps member posted to a place, your primary responsibility is to make serious enquiry about the norms and values of the place you are posted and adjust. A proper Yoruba person values respect especially greeting. I am sure na woman beat her. Abi she date person boyfriend and they targeted her.
