  1. When ny nephew was a kid, he gave his Mum his maths homework to help him. She kept looking at it, trying to see where to start from. He looked at her and said "the way you're looking at it, it's obvious you don't know it", took his book and left. 🤣🤣

  5. My son has maths homework. This quantitative reasoning. I was just staring at it for few minutes. After sometime I called my daughter to come and help him with his homework. She looked at it and said, mummy it's easy nah, she took pen and started writing let's assume the missing number is X, my little son just looked at the sister and said, mummy that can not even do simple mathematics, you are now saying let's assume the missing number is X,how will she even understand it now😂. I was just speechless for few minutes.

  6. Currently at a parenting stage where I tell my toddler not to do something and she will continue to do it while staring and looking me straight. See finish, this pikin has seen me finish 😅😂 but let dada say sit down, she will obey for few minutes. Their ears are truly for decoration.

Abi when I told her to stop climbing the table, she replied "you will fall down". Let's see who will fall🥺

  8. My son started asking after his father earlier this year, and I keep saying he's not in Nigeria because if I had told him that he stays here, my son would have taken my breath by saying we should go stay with him.
Even the lie I told him sef, my son don dey tell me we should go to America in December to go live with his dad🤣🤣🤣
I told him no money, and he said I should go borrow money I said okay when the talk talk too much
Since then my son has been asking if I have borrowed the money because the month is going to end soon o🤣🤣🤣

He has been telling everyone that his dad lives in the US 🤣🤣 I con dey blame myself why I lied to him because people think say nah true as dem don dey use American wife dey look me🤣🤣🤣 me wey be say nah manage I dey manage 🤣🤣

I pray to Almighty to do wonders in our lives so his wish will come true🙏

    3. This is heartbreaking. But it's not really a good idea keeping the little boy in high hopes that his Dad in America. I am not comfortable with the empty promise. What if the friends parents who really know you expose the actual truth to their children who thereafter will come and inform your son that he should stop hoping that his Dad is in America? You know how disappointed he'll be after the revelation right?

  9. Last week, my daughter came home from school and told me her male classmate told her that she is his life. My daughter is just 6. She don already hook somebody's son for throat😫😭. Till now, I am still confused on how to handle the matter.

My son was playing with his sister, when she began to tease him mercilessly. This boy just blurted out, "A****a, stop that nonsense. Who's laughing with you? It's not funny".These are the exact words I always shout when they misbehave. This 3 year old man don see me finish

  10. Last week my brother dropped his daughters with me because their mom was going to put to birth.
My four and half years old niece looked me in the eye immediately her father left and said...my mom is pregnant,my mom's stomach is about to burst,so my dad took her to the hospital so her stomach can burst open so that a new baby would come out. While talking she was describing with her hands how her mom's stomach would burst open. I love children sooo much especially in their innocence.

  12. My children were going through the album and noticed i have given birth to his sister before wedding.
They came to me for explanation, I told them that we already had traditional marriage before pregnancy comes, my son said I should have waited that he cannot look me in the eye, me that prays every three hours.

  13. I bought a lovely and colourful pen for my 8 year old niece (imagine a pen that cost me a whopping £5). She went to school with the pen and one of her class girls bullied her into submitting the pen.

She didn’t tell anyone what happened but wanted her brother’s one. Her brother will not let her so they started struggling. When my sister asked her about her pen, she said her class mate took it. So my sister went to her school and spoke to her teacher and the pen was retrieved.

2 months later, I asked her about that her class mate that stole her pen and in her words she said “aunty cc is all in the past, I have moved on” I was like do you still speak to her? She replied “of course we seat together every day so there is no way I won’t”

I felt so ashamed that I asked her those questions. Little wonder God wants us to be like children, they radiate kindness that soothes and uplifts. And most of the times, they respond with compassion rather than judgment.

  15. My brother doesn’t like to give his children fizzy drinks so when he wants to drink some, he will conceal it in a coffee cup. So on that faithful day, his 2 year son asked him what he was drinking and he said “Coffee” and he requested for some to drink and my brother told him is adult drink and not for kids.

He said to my brother “can I mell (sic) it?” My brother said of course you can. He smelt it and then looked my brother eye ball to eye ball and then said “this is not coffee”.

  19. My nephew is on this table.
There was this family friend of ours that lost two teeth as a child.
One day he visited and while everyone was gisting; my nephew ( about 3years or 4years then) just stood and was looking at him.
Next thing he said was that brother so and so has rat teeth.
I and my sister heard him and shouted at him to keep quiet meanwhile the guy didn't understand what he said but heard his name.
The brother so and so now made matter worse and asked him to repeat what he said that he didn't pick what he said.
Na so my nephew shout; "I said you have rat teeth!"
The guy come quiet like person they pour cold water.

  20. Thank you for bringing this post Stella.
When my daughter was like 5yrs, there was this my neighbors young couple that just got married so the wife was still ttc. the wife loves my daughter she loves to play with her and she buys her a lot of gifts. So there was a day she was playing with my daughter outside our compound then this girl just opened her sharp mouth
My daughter: aunty do you have a baby?
God I was shock beyond words even the lady was shock, then when I was about to shut her up, the lady said "my baby is still with God
Then she said "ok collect the baby from God so that I will be playing with her"

  21. She is almost 8yrs now, and I have warned her to stop snooping on my phone whenever am on Facebook or any social media platforms because I might just come across a picture or video that is not suitable for children. So she just walked to my room while I was surfing the internet one day with a serious face and she was telling me if social media is bad for children then it should be bad for adults as well.
    Imagine the audacity?
Me: will you getaat of here.
