Mr Okuneye has been in the eye of the storm since activist VeryDarkMan shared a purported audio conversation wherein he claimed to have paid some EFCC officials N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him.
He was released on August 5, 2024 after he was sentenced to six months in prison on April 12, 2024 for abusing the naira.
In the recording, the crossdresser also claimed that his “godfather”, Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, NCoS, ensured he served the six-month sentence in a private apartment and not in prison.
The crossdresser, however, denied the recording’s authenticity, threatening legal action against VeryDarkMan.
The House of Representatives Joint Committee on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions resolved to probe the bribery allegation and invited VeryDarkMan, Mr Okuneye, Ola Olukoyode, EFCC chairman, and Nababa to appear before the committee.
Mr Okuneye, on Saturday, took to Instagram to share a court file dated October 10, 2024 prohibiting EFCC and National Assembly from harassing, detaining, or declaring him wanted.
He claimed, in the lawsuit, that EFCC invited him for investigation based on a hearsay WhatsApp phone call published by VeryDarkMan.
According to him, EFCC failed to investigate the authenticity of the recording, which led to his ridicule on social media, threats from unknown persons, and invasion of his privacy.
The crossdresser, in the document, is seeking N200 million from EFCC for psychotic trauma and N1 billion from the National Assembly for violating his right to a fair hearing.

In which country? Continue pushing him and hailing him to lose millions in legal fees while u hide behind ur key board.
DeleteSomeone high up in this country is obviously "behind" this SHim. The audacity with which he has been operating since this saga started, is shocking. He didn't appear for the NASS Adhoc Committee meetings and nothing happened to him - no warrant of arrest; he was bundled out of an aircraft by EFCC as well as arrested by Immigrations at Seme Border, still nothing happened to him afterwards. He has been assisted to get out of the country and escape any further prosecution. He will lie low abroad for the case to die down and return to Nig to continue his lewd lifestyle. Some Nigerian animals (weird) are more equal than the others.
DeleteI agree with you 👍

ReplyDeleteI got the advice from a madman
ReplyDeleteDear Bobrisky , stay in your abroad in peace. No let bad advices finish you…..
ReplyDeleteThis guy is a fraudster. He don cast for Nigeria, as many people don they avoid am. As such money is not coming in like before.
ReplyDeleteHe traveled on visitors visa which will expire in few weeks time and decided to sue Nigerian government agency, so that he can use the documents to apply for asylum. Claiming his life is in danger in Nigeria.
The Airline attack he received on the airline was arranged by his contact at EFCC to make it real.
I am sure the courts will be happy to hear his case. His lawsuit is a bit more interesting and breaks up the mundane nature of most court proceedings.
ReplyDeleteDead on arrival
