  5. I think that she went too far, you got to learn how to deal with your people no matter how draining they may be, heck! You could even distance yourself and not completely changed who you are.

Remember, fame is fleeting but family forever.

I'm sure for her to be putting this out there, there must have been so many things going on behind the scene. Some people you call family can frustrate the life out of one's existence

    5. Iya is right, we don’t know the stories and challenges of people their issues are brought to social media, but still give our opinions. Family issues requires sense especially when they see you as the privileged one among them. We have parents and siblings that are too demanding but we still find ways to manage them, because we love them. May be she being adopted according to her made her to also take this drastic measure.

    6. Pray not to be born into a wrong family, you will even die for them, they will still complain that you didn't die properly. Their entitlement mentality can destabilize you for life.

  9. Success often brings both rewards and challenges, especially when family dynamics are involved.

Bringing family matters to social media can sometimes escalate issues rather than resolve them. Social media might provide a platform to voice frustrations or seek support, but it also exposes private matters to public scrutiny, which can complicate things further. Resolving such matters privately through communication, mediation, or professional counseling often yields better outcomes.

As for dropping the family name, it might be a personal choice, perhaps driven by the need to establish independence or avoid association with ongoing issues. However, such decisions are delicate and should ideally be made with careful thought to maintain respect and preserve relationships.

    1. @Anon 12:38 That is the issue for most Nigerians, particularly someone like you. You folks believe that everything is web-based and that no one can write good English or phrases without the help of an internet bot. I am speechless!
For the record, I am a linguistics graduate; moreover, it's my comment, and I can decide to write in plain Nigerian English or do it professionally as I please.

When you read words on other blogs or newspapers, you don't say it to ChatGPT.

  19. I never used to believe one can be estranged for one's family. But in recent times, that which I have been taking for granting and never imagined can happen is happening. And to imagine that the perpetrator has been visible in broad daylight like a mouse, destroying and innocently blowing breeze. This masquerading wicked person is so publicly nice, follows back to back monitoring everything and spoiling things 'harmlessly' until I intentionally began to obey God and keep my mouth shut, since February. Hmm, so called family came out in full glare. Just last week, I made it known that I know everything that has been going on secretly all these years but chose silence. I deliberately did this. Since then till now, masquerade don go AWOL, I just dey laugh in 3D because anybody wey say God no dey, nobody dey see me, God go expose before disgracing them publicly. If family never deal with you, you no go believe this lady. Nollywood stories is real ooh.
