Nigerian Govt Announces Free C-Section To Combat Maternal Mortality Rate

The Nigerian government has launched a program offering free Cesarean section to reduce maternal mortality rate. The initiative which was announced by Professor Muhammed Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, aims to remove financial barrier for women in need, particularly in underserved regions.
Part of the Ministers post on X says “No woman should lose her life simply because she cannot afford a C-section.”

  5. Great one. Can we also have Government hospitals void of Strike too. They should have government and private partnership on health care or even NGO hospitals to cushion the expenses incurred with great facilities and staffs.
