MEET THE DIRECTOR
Prince Daniel is a prominent figure in the Nigerian film industry, celebrated for his exceptional filmmaking skills and commitment to
social causes. His versatile storytelling and dedication to positive change have
established him as a respected voice in the country’s media landscape. With a background in Mass Communication and Media Administration, coupled with formal training in Film Directing, Prince Daniel is well equipped for his craft. His short films, Hiding Place and Bring Me Flowers, have received critical acclaim and recognition at prestigious film festivals, showcasing his talent and creativity. His feature film, Kaka, has also achieved significant success, winning multiple awards at the African Film Festival (TAFF) in the United States and the RTF in the United Kingdom, as well as earning nominations at reputable festivals such as the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) and the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
Beyond his filmmaking accomplishments, Prince Daniel is deeply committed to community development. He serves as a volunteer Peacebuilder and Conflict Resolution Trainer for the United Nations'
Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and holds the title of Youth Ambassador for Peace. He also contributes to education as a Visiting Instructor at a Nigerian university, demonstrating his dedication to social
and educational initiatives.
Prince Daniel’s passion for filmmaking, combined with his commitment to
community engagement, has solidified his reputation as an influential broadcaster and filmmaker in Nigeria. His work continues to inspire audiences and shape the narrative of Nigerian cinema one frame at a time. Outside of his professional endeavours, Prince Daniel enjoys
reading, teaching, and photography, which further enriches his creative pursuits.
