Legendary Nigerian musician, Bobby Benson's first son Anthony Wallace Adekunle Benson is dead.
A statement signed by Maxwell Bobby-Benson, on behalf of the family said that he died in the evening of November 13, 2024 in Ikorodu, Lagos State, after a brief illness.
The late Tony Benson was an accomplished musician and a multi instrumentalist and also led his own band for several years.
His father, the late Bobby Benson was one of Nigeria’s veterans of highlife music.
