DeleteWe learn anywhere and everywhere. I watched an episode of Tom and Jerry that has reminded me of the need to forgive. So Tom died, and was in heaven about to be screened 🙂. The angel asked him to wait for his record 🤔, it was seen from his record that he spent all his life being wicked to a little mouse 😳. He was given one hour to go back and ask the mouse to forgive him or else he can't enter heaven's express. He went back and begged Jerry to forgive him and sign the certificate of forgiveness. After much begging, he eventually signed but when Tom was taking the certificate back to the angel, he woke up and realized it was a dream. That experience made Tom to turn a new leaf and he started being kind to Jerry afterwards.😢

Teach them how to speak it.

Please don't deny that child his/her mother's tongue, it eventually makes them unhappy when they become adults and can't communicate with their local dialects.

A lot of people eventually grow up without knowing how to speak their languages. while you didn't see the need for them to speak it earlier, people see grown ups that cannot speak their native language somehow. There should be a balance, kids should speak both English and there languages fluently.
DeleteI dont even knowhow my boys perfected pidgin English sef...they told me its from hearing me talk on the phone...they understand and speak small yoruba and igbo and all the coded slangs u can think of they understandf it.please note that i did not teach them at all......Kids pick of language so you dont need to teach them anything, just speak what you want them to learn and they will learn...I see children of none English speaking countries here as little as three years speaking their original country languages becos thats all they hear at home between their parents.........abeg there is nothing a child will do with the native language,, it doesnt get a job.....so many languages will become extinct as time goes on....

Our kids sleep in a warm bed, they have clean water to drink, bubble baths at night and many people who love them. Sometimes been rich isn't about how much money you have..

DeleteYesterday was so stressful on me. From the police station I had spent some time, I went to pick up my POS machine that was ready and also checked on my shop. I got back home having severe headache. Took some drugs and slept off. Woke up this morning feeling slight headache. After breakfast, will take another drugs. Stress isn't good on me at all.

The police found exhibits in your house meaning it was you that broke and looted the house with an accomplice. You were granted bail as a mother and told to settle out of station. Even with the incriminating evidences found in your house, you're still lying. I really wanted this to settle out of police and probably didn't head to court even though you have sold most of the items looted.
Now you took the case from the jurisdiction close to us to the police head office cos you feel your daughter is dating an inspector at the head office. Now you have roped yourself the more. Your daughter is dating a common inspector and it didn't occur to you that the person you're dealing with might knows the game very well.
Why are you trying to seek settlement now of what you were told a month ago?

I saw something that broke my heart this morning. So I entered the school close to my house this morning. I'm familiar with almost all the teachers plus the owner of the school, they patronise me whenever they have occasions. They're planning their Christmas party so I went to see the headteacher. There's this male teacher who has 2kids in the school too. So this morning he came with his kids and their classes were still locked .one is in nursery 2 while the other is in pri1
So the kids left their lunchboxes close to the door of the class and followed their dad to his own class. Another child ran and mistakenly hit the lunchbox and it fell with the content. What was in this kids lunch box was garri and sugar, the garri poured. The teacher wanted to beat the child and that one was just saying sorry sir. I begged the teacher but honestly that garri I saw broke my heart. A child of say 5yrs taking garri to soak in school 😢 e no go better for this wicked govt. I'm thinking of cooking indomie and taking to the child during their break time but I don't know if I'm crossing my boundaries. Hmmmm it is well! When my son told me some pupils steak snacks in their class, I thought he was joking till I confirmed from the teacher especially the ones their parents don't give them snacks all the time, it is very sad!

DeleteHow can a family man in this economy go and be teaching in a private school, a whole head of the family teaching in a private school in Nigeria. Not even a big school but one otakara school.
He is a foolish man, a very stupid one. How much will they pay him there to feed himself, let alone the family?
Private teaching job in a small school is for single young people without plenty responsibilities or married women with husbands who are doing fairly well. The salary they pay cannot feed one person , I mean feeding alone for one month.
Let him go and look for something else to do. Okada riders, Keke riders, bus drivers, even POS agents make the salary they pay some private school teachers in 3 days.
Even if he works on construction sites as labourer, he will make that his salary in one week. He is just a lazy and foolish somebody.
This really broke my heart. Mennn!
