I feel so exhausted. Just coming back home now. Left home since 8am to do a sample for a job I had put in quotation. Due to the delay by the contractors, I couldn't go out to eat till this moment I just came back.
ReplyDeleteFinished the sample around 2pm and was told to come back in two weeks time for further discussions. I felt so bad. I really hoped everything would have clicked today. But all the same. God dey. When I was about leaving the site, a friend currently working in Delta state called me to assist him arrange some materials and chemical from Port Harcourt and weigh bill to him in Ugehili Delta state. He's already working at a site over there and coming back to get those finished materials and chemical will cost him much when you add his transportation. Hence the reason he pleaded I run it for him.
Everything cost N49,500 and I took it to Agofure park for a weigh bill and got the shock of my life that the amount to transport it tomorrow morning is 21,500.
How? Something of N49,500 and you are charging N21,500. So fucking high. To think it was pass 5pm and no motor is going today again but tomorrow. I had to hurriedly came out of the park and saw a Siena almost filled with passengers going to Warri and will get to Ugheli as well. I negotiated and it ended at N9,000. I called the person and gave him the driver's number. He will pay once he receive it. The vehicle left by 6pm.
They have been communicating as he waits for the driver.

ReplyDeleteI urge you to always verify the expiration date of your medications prior to consumption, ensuring that they are housed in their correct packaging and not in a pack that belongs to a different drug so you are sure of the accurate expiry date.
Yesterday, I was abruptly awakened by an emergency, when someone unintentionally took drugs that had already expired, mistakenly believing the expiration date was next year. The medication was kept in the wrong packaging, leading them to check the date on the pack instead of the main date on the actual drug.
While it is commonly thought that most medications merely lose potency post-expiration without posing significant health risks, I implore you to exercise caution.
Thanks to God who stepped in and saved the day because the aftereffects were scary.

There's a difference between expiry date and best before.
The last one is for food, meaning content is 80% "still good".
Expired on the other hand means the reactions and composition has gone bad.

ReplyDeleteFor days, I have been feeling unwell to the extent I vomited last night. This prompted me to visit a general hospital today. After consulting with the doctor, he sent my records to the lab and pharmacy. Following the lab tests, I proceeded to the pharmacy to collect my medication. The pharmacist printed a receipt listing the prescribed drugs and their prices. I was directed to pay at the pharmacy's cash point, which had a lengthy queue. As I waited with a lady behind me for almost an hour standing, she grew tired and called her husband, who suggested she send him a photo of the prescription. The husband came and asked her to leave the gueue and follow him to a nearby pharmacy. She asked me to join them so I decided to tag along🤩.I handed my prescriptions to the pharmacist. She gathered all the prescribed medication, including a dewormer, and surprisingly charged me 60% less than the hospital's price!. I double-checked the drugs, brands, and dosages with her to ensure accuracy. Everything was exactly as prescribed. The hospital prescribed dewormer 1k. Pharmacy sold N300.00, and so on. It's disheartening to see general hospital charging more for drugs than private pharmacies. Than God I rarely fall ill. God bless them!.

When I left the pharmacy, I decided to buy holadia yogurt. I priced at the first shop, she said N1,500.00. I gave her my ATM, she said she forgot her POS at home and cannot collect transfer because her app is misbehaving. I.left her and entered the next two shops after her. The lady told me the yogurt is N1,800.00. Madam your neighbor is selling N1,500. How can yours be N1,800. She said she is not her neighbor as her neighbor might be selling old stock.
God abeg oo. Same product, same market, same supplier , different prices.
My street, one product, different prices at different shops. So fucking annoying. Even the church that sells things on my street is the worst. I avoid them now.

ReplyDeleteFew days ago a young guy broke into one compound on our street in the afternoon when everyone has gone to work, he stole some things but on his way out of the compound, we heard he drank some wine he say in the house so he was probably drunk, so while he was trying to jump out from the fence, his stomach go stuck with the iron on the fence and he fell back inside, I think he bled to death. The owner came back in the evening and saw a dead body, he called police to come and evacuated the body, they later found out he's the son of one chief in our area
Well, the father came with police yesterday to arrest the owner of the house claiming he murdered his son and was only trying to use burglary as a cover up

DeleteAfter 22 days that I gbenshed last, Oga arrived and we gbenshed last night, I was feeling so much pain while he was thrusting deep. So uncomfortable, i had to call the doctor today to complain, he said most likely pelvic infection....mo rire

After spending a few days in Scotland, eating and drinking all sorts of unhealthy food and beverages (From binging on Ferrero Roche to getting soaked in Prosseco) I have decided to take some detoxing herbs in Capsules tonight with 1.5 litres of water to clean out my guts. Its definitely gonna make me drink more water and Shalang all night (not literarily).
