  1. Hi bvs, good afternoon,
Please there is something I need to know the spelling because I'm writing a book about my childhood,
It an underwear that we call 'shimi' (my instinct is telling me that the above spelling is wrong)
Please who knows the correct spelling if my own is wrong, it is worn inside before putting on your gown or skirt, I don't know if it still exists because I don't see it in the market again.

    2. It is still existing. They still sell it in the market. I call it undergarment,

      Delete
    3. That's exactly what we called it. For simplicity and relatability you could say inner wear or underwear as that's what they really served.

However to clear your confusion the shimi name we used was in fact 'chemise' -an originally French word describing the exact long gown innerwear for women.

      Delete
    4. Just put it in italics.

Then on reference section indicate the meaning in English to be underwear in the form of a skirt or top or whatever it actually is.

Congratulations in advance on your book.

  4. Dear fashion designers, how do you prevent your bonings from squeezing, after washing corset dresses with sewable boning?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You gently use soft brush to brush the dress, do not wring it as this can cause the bonings to squeeze and damage the shape of the dress then you spread it where there is sun so it can dry because of the bra cup inside the dress.

    1. To cook yummy spaghetti.

      1. First off, prepare your tomato sauce, you need to get the base right...Fry your blender tomatoes and pepper mix...At the same time, parboil your spaghetti in a enough hot boiling water so it does not stick (You don't need to add oil in your spag) Use enough water instead - for at least 5 minutes.

      2. In your tomato sauce, add your seasoning, salt and add your preferred protein (fish, precooked meat, precooked chicken) and allow to cook for like 10minutes.

      3. Immediately after 5 minutes of parboiling your spaghetti, sieve out the water (save some of the spaghetti water) and immediately transfer the sieved spaghetti into your tomato sauce and stir very well (Use wooden ladle not iron spoon to stir).

      4. Cook under low heat, add a little of your saved spag water if the spag is still hard a bit (this is optional)...Then you add your chopped carrots, green beans, spring onions and green peppers about 3 minutes later.

      5. Get it a final stir and serve....

      Here is your tasty spaghetti....

    5. BV Osundi The Spag Water binds the tomato sauce to your spag which enhances the taste better than when you use ordinary water....I forgot to mention: Add Salt when you are parboiling your spag....

    2. Try Canva, they have some wow effects but that may be on the pro version which is the paid. The thing with Canva is that even if you cannot pay they have so many options on their free platform it is still worth it to create an account and use them. Just find a day when you have time to surf through their offerings.

There is another site, Piktochart. I like them a lot and for some reason found their ui easier to use than Canva but they are pricey fast. It's not even worth it using their free site. I don't know if they changed up things, but if money is no hindrance you can take a look at them too.

Sometimes it depends on the type of cookware that you are using and how long you have left it on the heat to cook.
The little drop of Grandnut oil is to add a shinny effect to the swallow, can also prevent it from sticking on your pot.
