The French team took an early lead in the 2nd minute through Rabiot. An own goal from the Italians increased the tally for the french team to a 2 goal lead. A goal from cambiasso in the 35th minute reduced the score to 2-1 before Rabiot made it a brace to finish up the match with 3-1 for the french team.. Congrats to the French.
In other matches, after a goalless first half between England and the Republic of Ireland, the second half came alive with a goal from Kane, that was all that was needed for the floodgate of goals to open and for the match to end in a whitewash for the three lions. It ended England 5 Republic of Ireland 0. I guess at this point, we can no longer consider Belgium as a powerhouse as they lost 0-1 to Israel last night.
