Finland Based Activist Simon Ekpa Arrested Over Alleged Terror Related Activities In Nigeria

Finnish Police have arrested Simon Ekpa, a Finnish-Nigerian activist and self-proclaimed leader of the Biafra separatist movement..
He was arrested in Finland along with four others on suspicion of terror-related activities which include incitement to violence and financing terrorism.

Finnish authorities, working in coordination with international agencies, allege that Ekpa used his social media platforms to incite unrest and coordinate violent actions, primarily targeting civilians and authorities in Southeastern Nigeria.

The Päijät-Häme District Court has remanded Ekpa in custody while investigations continue. The other suspects are accused of providing financial support to these activities. This case is a significant development in the broader tensions surrounding the Biafra separatist movement, which seeks independence from Nigeria.....

    1. Ordinarily he can’t be extradited but this crime involves terrorism so yes he may be extradited and even lose his citizenship if he wasn’t born there.
