Female Pastor Curses Congregation For Refusing To Contribute To Her Birthday

WOW!!!!
There is a trending video of a female Pastor who cursed the congregation for not contributing money towards celebrating her Birthday....

In her words;
"You, you, you, you have the wisdom of the World...Even my birthday, some of you refused to contribute, May God punish you because you're wicked, unless you don't have.
When I stand here, I preach, some of you come to my office, you disturb me with prayers and everything, give money for us to celebrate Pastor Cecelia, it's not like i am coming to eat the money, it's for the food you're coming to eat yourself .....

Some of you kept nothing but you ate like a pig and do take away

I'll say it, if you're angry, change because if it was you and they come to me, I would give freely because you're member and so I would look after you but when it comes to your Pastors, you don't want to know because you're selfish, you're only thinking about yourself, that is the wisdom of the World

Somebody that has the wisdom of God would be there for one another

When you don't have, I give you, when I know you're shorting, I give you from the little I have because am sure I'm a Kingdom citizen, because it's when I was hungry, Did you feed me? You're sitting here and you cannot pay something towards your Pastor's celebration or your Pastor's whatever
Why are you here? You're a Devil
And this is why Pastors are bitter minus me because I'm not relying on nobody's money
90% of it was paid for by my husband
I said to the girls, there are some people, when it comes to me, please don't ask them for anything, do not ask them to contribute anything for me cause if I know I would take it and give it back to you because I know it's not coming from your good heart and it's not about £1000 or £100
One little gift like a voucher that Charlet gave me,I went and bought two blazers, it's not about the money, it's about your heart".

  2. This are the charlatans bringing shame to the body of Christ.

Lord Jesus Christ never coerced or asked anyone for support, rather as he was filled with the Holy Spirit.Acts 10:38, he went about doing good, healing the sick and feeding the Hungry.

When most of these Pastors talks, you will know if they are spirit filled or not.

    DOZZYBEST.

    1. Exactly dozzy Jesus was even the one feeding the congregation.

      Mark 6:34_ 44

      He had compassion on
      The crowd following him

Today when crowd start following our men of God
The first thing they think about is how to milk them dry unlike Jesus you had compassion in that text up there

  7. Hmm, she's right but I don't support the cursing part.
According to her, when reverse is the case, she extends generosity to them, I think of those that collect giveaways from here and disappear afterwards or even poison the heart of others against the owner of the platform.

Let's make giving a habit, not I give you, you give me, but giving accompanied with love and loyalty and not curse and regret.

Please what's the English word for "Sìrègún".. ? Giving and referring to it later to either mock or blackmail the recipient.

    1. Yes, she has a point considering she was only concerned about those who have the means to gift her but didn't, despite expecting and demanding so much from her. Regardless, her presentation is very bad and disturbing.

    3. It is in some people's DNA to only receive and take but never give. They know who they are but they will never admit it to themselves. When you identify them in your life, give them gap.

    4. She wasn't expecting anything in return it was her birthday. Who doesn't expect something small on birthdays??? Even those who don't give anything expect something on their birthday, let alone someone that have been good to you countless times and it is not that you don't have it sef

    5. I just read your question again, Nimi. I don't know what that word you wrote up there is, but I deduced that the answer to the latter part of your question could be called scorekeeping, like when someone keeps score of a good deed.

If i was present in that service that day and I contributed, I will stand up and leave that Church never to come back there again. What manner entitlement with a touch of evil is tbat

  15. Is this kind of churches that is always full to the brim, when you go to where the real word of God is being preached ,you hardly see people 🤔. It's a pity

  16. Pastor Mrs is Upset, Ma, the congregation needs this to be thought how to give and be appreciative. Most people will be angry when positivity is not return.

  17. If you read through with an open mind, you will get her point. She is only reiterating the need to give when the need arises. Some of us just go to church, sit down for the AC/Fan to blow us, enjoy the serene environment, listen to the 'powerful' message and flip our hairs and go home.

Somebody somewhere or some group of people are responsible for making that environment enjoyable for you every Sunday both financially and otherwise. Some of these pastors are full time pastors, some combine their jobs with pastoring and you don't expect them to use loud speaker to let us know that they need assistance here and there.

Even in the bible, God commanded a certain portion to be given to the priests because they are dedicated to their work and do not go about working like others. We somehow feel entitled to the prayers and preaching being made for us too, or how will you feel when you come to church on Sunday and the pastor has no message to preach or any form of prayer to make. In all, it's a thing of the heart. If you truly love God and you're blessed with resources, you will willingly want to support and I don't think you will pick offense when told to give.

    1. She could have passed her message without the curses, that her ranting spoiled whatever message she was passing on

    2. Thank you! I already seconded Nimi's comment above, but maybe I didn't post it, though I thought I did.

I remember the day a pastor said he was suddenly called by a woman to come over. She had recently opened a supermarket, I think, and wanted the pastor to pray over it. The man came over, prayed, and she couldn't even offer him a bottle of water to quench his thirst. When he was done and about to leave, she simply smiled and said, "Thank you, pastor," and that was it. He fueled his car, gave her his time, his energy, etc., and she just let him leave like that!

Because he is a pastor and must be used and not grumble, else you start to call him names and start comparing him to Jesus. You must think pastors are Jesus? Even Jesus, what have you given him? A lot only run to him to use him. It's a parasitic relationship with most... I want, I want, I want...

It was a once-a-year celebration, and the members she probably knew could afford it couldn't even gift her a birthday gift, maybe a pen or something small to show they valued her service. But I would say it again: she could have managed her emotions properly. The delivery was too caustic.

    5. Yes Gaby and Anon 13:00 she could have managed her emotions and pass the message.

Exactly the point Gaby. We assume pastors are super humans who don't have feelings and when they voice out, we become 'surprised' and castigate them saying they are there for the money when even the bible says a labourer is worthy of his wages. Those complaining are actually those who want to be mischievous like the woman you stated above. Even Paul the apostle appreciated those who always supported his welfare while he was busy with the gospel. Let's do better.

  22. I watched the video yesterday. But they were hailing and clapping for her na. Birthday celebrations has become the norm of the day. If nobody contribute towards your birthday celebration, use your own money to entertain people.
Moreover, is it a must to celebrate birthdays. Was there any record in the Bible that Jesus celebrated His birthday or any of the apostles, prophets, teachers. There was only records of when Jesus was born and the three wise men presented him with gold, frankincense and myrr, when he was 12 years old and was teaching in the temple, when he was 30 years old and started his ministry and when he died at age 33 years old.

  24. Stella, you asked yesterday how we will differentiate. Hope you are getting the answer now. Christ described the kingdom of God as a mustard seed (the smallest seed ever) that was sown and grew to become a giant tree with branches where birds of the air build thier nests.

  25. It’s easy to say she’s wrong
The truth is,if you are a giver. You expect at least something,at least no matter how little
Yesterday I gave a guy a deal that paid him well,I know because the money passed my account. I made sure nobody took it till he came,it’s a job for a politician,he did it and was paid. When the money came,I transferred all to him in less than 5 mins. He didn’t call to say thank you. I called to ask if he has received it,he said yes
I made a mental note yesterday, for 5years plus I’ve been giving this guy deals,he has bought car, married wife, not once has this young man given me a cup of water as appreciation. I noticed yesterday
I thought deep into it , I made a decision not to give him deals but Holy Ghost whispered No
I should keep giving him as it comes
I will give him but I will find another person and share it.
If time progresses and the person is good,I will give the person
God has blessed him I don’t need the deal
However just a bottle of wine or a thank you note will do

There are expectations,I don’t support the cursing
I will never do it but I know how hurt one feels when love is not reciprocated

  26. I don't like the curses. But read through it. She made a valid point.
Some of you are like this with Pastors, relations and everyone giving to you. You take and take and take. When the person giving to you is celebrating birthdays or any event, you will come empty handed with nothing. You cannot give your time, you cannot give a token, you cannot give nothing.

She goes out of her way to give to people, why can't they give her even if it is a token.

Pastors have families, they appreciate love too. Rich people appreciate gifts too. They want to feel loved and wanted. Pastors have children.

Learn to give. If you have 20000, you can give someone 100 Naira or pay someone's tfare. You can give your time. You can go to the house of your relation that is always paying your fees and help them clean up. You can clean the house of God. You can buy fuel for someone. There is a lot you can do. You can credit airtime to someone's phone. Start small.

    1. "You can go to the house of your relation that is always paying your fees and help them clean up."

      Now this is funny!

Because even if some of them decide to go to the house of their relatives to help them clean, they would still expect to be paid when leaving the relative's house despite the fact that the relatives have done a lot for them. Even their acts of appreciation or reciprocity are never for free.
