Ex Anambra State Gov Peter Obi Says He Would Never Divorce His Wife Even If She Cheats On Him

Ex Anambra State Governor Peter Obi has sworn that he would never divorce his wife no matter what.

While speaking during an episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Peter Obi affirmed that he would stand by his wife regardless of any potential circumference, including infidelity.
In his words;
"No matter what my wife does today, I won’t divorce her. I can’t separate from her. I can never. Even if she like let her shoot me, as long as I am alive, she’s my wife
“No matter what she does, I won’t marry [someone else]. She’s my wife. Whatever she likes, let her do because what is she going to do that would offend me? What? Maybe have an extramarital affair? It’s her business. It’s not me. They won’t say two of us have an affair. They would say Peter Obi is a very good man who married a woman who is [promiscuous]. That is it!
“You can’t quantify me with the life of my wife or children. No. We have different lifestyles. Even if I’m traveling with my wife, people have seen it. Sometimes we are in the same plane but in different classes. She is in business class and I’m in economy. Because that suits her and it doesn’t conflict with my interests".

  4. I will only forgive a cheating partner but will never continue in the relationship/marriage anymore for my mental sake.

    A woman who cheats will never respect or value you if you still keep them back.

  7. A lot of women that forgive their cheating husbands is not because they love them, it’s because that specific environment still helps them to thrive and still suites their lifestyle. Most men that are well to do don’t really give a f**k if their wives catch them cheating cos 6 out of 10 times the wife will forgive.

  9. I like you Peter Obi very well but I respectfully disagree.

    Cheating affects the dynamics of the family. There are jealous lovers abound that can try to annihilate the other party if care is not taken. There are stalkers that would do their best to harm you. There are people that easily gets obsessed with their one night stand partner.

    Cheating is wrong in all ramifications and tolerating it is very wrong too. I don't want to talk about the STDs that are transmitted through it.

    Love her all you want but don't accept cheating.

    By the way, married men should start paying attention to their wives, the rate some married women are cheating, it has surpassed the men. If you add poverty to the mix, then it has multiplied.

    Married men, go home and attend to your wives. Let he who has ears hear. This is an emergency call to action. Don't think just because she wears natural hair and looks naive, she cannot cheat.

    4. anonymous 10.51 - you claim that the rate that women are cheating has surpassed men...that is a lie.

      from time immemorial, women cheat way more than men. only thing is that;

      (a) women know how to hide it
      (b) most men think their wives are innocent and they don't bother checking
      (c) men who catch their wife cheating will never come out to say their wife is cheating becuase of the shame involved. abi as a man who is marred for 20 years with a woman who have given you teenagers, will you come out to shout on social media that your wife is cheating?

      most men just die in silence and if they catch their wives, will either pretend not to see it or just keep silent about it and resolve it amicably.

      na women dey come online to acuse their husband of cheating. na them they snoop past.

      if you think all of the above is lies, then let's all agree to have dna test for all children for a year and you will see those women froth in the mouth to avoid those dna test

  19. Shameless lots and yes I'm a woman. Look at you ladies praising a man for saying that he would stay with his cheating wife yet you are the first to tell a woman to leave her cheating man. I lost all respect I had for Peter Obi. That is way is advisable to not talk too much.

      My dear, no two marriages are same. Neither are couples experiences.
      How can you loss respect for how a man chooses to run HIS OWN HOME? Is it your home, or father or brother? Man has found how to live with His wife. His life, His choice.

      Did he ask you to do same or made it a law in Nigeria or the world ?
      Nna nah wah ooo

    2. You lost respect because of someone else opinion? Cheating is not a deal breaker for him, so be it. There are partners you find it difficult to divorce due to how far you have come.

  21. Some of you guys supporting this man act like religious fanatics who try to defend God.
    you are quick to snap and rise to his defense once anything you find contrary is said about him, he is only a man for God's sake and is no saint. I don't expect an elder to talk like this in public, there are better ways to say this.
