Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has suspended the free bus services across the three Senatorial districts in the state days after granting approval....
The governor's Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, had released a statement to journalists in Benin City stating that the governor approved the free bus services to residents as part of his administration’s initiative.
However, in another statement on Wednesday, the Chief press sec. urged members of the public to disregard the earlier announcement.
He said the suspension was occasioned after the governor receiived briefing on the issues surrounding the operation of the state-owned Edo City Transport Service, ECTS, the operators of the free bus services.

DeleteSame people in and out of elected positions in n Nigeria, no agenda no manifestos, people will survive on favourable government policies and not on palliatives, how will such palliatives survive where there are private individuals doing such business and paying tax, it can be for all schools in the state like Ondo Srate,(During Mimiko Administration and partially now with present administration) free maternity, policies that will affect individuals irrespective of the status and tribe in the state.
