ReplyDeleteI am not a smoker but my grandpa used to smoke his pipe and cigars, I love the smell of tobacco because it always remind me of him. I don’t smell the sweet tobacco too often anymore but it always brings back fond memories of visiting him.
ReplyDeleteThe couple is doing their own thing. I love couples who are accomplices to each other. I am not sure where morals enter with smoking, drinking alcohol doesn’t have any moral implication until one gets drunk and it then becomes an abhorration. Smoking with the intention to get high could be seen as having moral consequences, smoking that doesn’t cause mental cloudiness or that leads to addiction does not carry any moral implications to me. But go off.

Reminds me of my friend and his wife when I visited them years back in Manchester. My friend was smoking weed and his wife was also smoking right there inside their house. I was shocked. His wife finally abandoned him and made away with his cash. Dude trusted his wife with his life. My friend finished his Master program with good result in Tech. He was earning £850.00 a day. The company he worked for promised to sponsor him but reneged at the last minute. Dude was stranded. They decided to relocate to Ghana after they couldn't get papers in the UK to re-strategize. Wife told husband to allow him go first and source for a house to buy. Husband agreed. Wife got to Accra, opened a bank account and told husband to send money for the house. Husband sent money. Wife disappeared with another man. They had no kids. Husband is now and still in Nigeria dealing with mental health related issues. This happened in 2012.
