Comedian Okey Bakassi Says Polygamy Is The Best For Africa....

You may not like what you are about to read......
Nigerian comedian and actor Okey Bakassi, says that polygamy is the best form of marriage for Africa because monogamy isn’t working.
Read to the end and tell us if you agree with what he said..

He said, “Forget all the lip services that we pay to polygamy here. I still think that polygamy is the best form of marriage for Africa. Monogamy is not working.
“We are pretending. Now, what’s the difference between polygamy and monogamy? Polygamy says you can marry two people at the same time. Monogamy says you cannot marry them at the same time, you have to let one go. What if you don’t want to let one go?”

-Interview with the honestbunch podcast

I agree with him but polygamy is horrible and i dont pray it on anyone..Most women in polygamous marriages pretend like all is well but na lie....And then all sharing one cucumber is disgusting, I would rather not to know!!!....

  1. Practice what you preach! He is married to one woman, yet advocating for Polygamy. If this is not hypocrisy, I wonder what it is.

    1. I married into a polygamous family. Father in-law had 7 wives, he died over 20 years ago, but the remaining wives and children are still fighting physical and spiritual battles over properties.

  11. Indirectly telling women that African men are polygamous in nature right, but that's not true, rather tell us with facts and reasons why a man may decide to follow that route. Simple.

    1. Exactly. Besides, every African male is not Polygamous. I once had a boss who religion & tradition allowed him to marry as many as he could afford but didnt, so i asked him what happened? He told me that what he enjoys with wife & children, he doesnt want to lose it, he told 'my wife could be crazy sometimes but i also get crazy sometime, he said that is not enough to get a 2nd wife & he has been like that for over 15yrs ive known him.

  17. Polygamy does not favour women but these selfish men don't even care how we feel. So bad

  18. Polygamy is not bad but it should be well planned. Any woman that decides to be a second or third wife should either know how to pray well or know how to hold on to her idol well, for the sake of her kids.

    1. Even as a wife married into a polygamous family, I still face spiritual battles from my father in-law's wives and children. That was how one of my brother in-law was told during chuch prayers, that the juju his mother did against the husband's children is also affecting him

    2. In most polygamy settings, the first wife and her children suffers. Most second wife are there to secure their future and that of their kids. They are mostly wicked and goes diabolical.

  23. I hope sharing of the man's will won't be a problem when the time comes?

I hope there won't be envy of the the success of the other woman's children, there my causing them to go diabolical on themselves or even going physical all the time?

  30. My late mum is from a "very'' polygamous family. My maternal grandfather being influential and wealthy married 10 wives. My grandmother was the first wife and my mum the first child among other numerous step sisters and brothers. My mum is late but the recent experience with our maternal people opened my eyes to the evils of polygamy. I just hope whatever that's going on in that family is not spiritually affecting my siblings and I.
