No be lie beautiful 😔
ReplyDeleteNne, people have been burn while trying to intervene in this things.
ReplyDeleteSome even learnt to mind their business the hard way.😎
Sometimes you have to watch from the sidelines before they go use you settle later. Any woman going through domestic violence knows what she should do to put an end to it.
ReplyDeleteYou will even arrest some of these men beating their wives and the women will still be the ones to go and bail them.
So I should carry another person's load on my head and now begin to drag my own.
DeleteI can't cry more than the bereaved biko
Some will stay 'because of the children'. Children that will be alright if anything happens to the woman while some remain for fear of what will people say or fear of loosing the' Mrs tile'. Last last people you are concerned about will be the same that will blame you for acting foolishly. May God help marriages.
ReplyDeleteI agree with her.
ReplyDeleteI no too agree with her
ReplyDeleteIf I just Experience it first time with this person I won't keep quite..
ReplyDeleteBut if it has happen like two to three times I will definately mind my business..make them no use me settle..
Hello iya Boys
I agree with her but then husband and wife matter over the years has taught me how to mind my business 🤷🏻♀️
ReplyDeleteTruth somehow
ReplyDeleteMost people that have talked, became the enemy at last.
ReplyDeleteI partially agree with her
ReplyDeleteI understand that some people have been hurt, insulted and all while trying to help a dv victim but that shouldn't make us stop doing our own bit.
One of my friend used to chop better beating, treating infection up and down and whenever her cup is full, she will sleep in the compound for as long as Oga wants.
ReplyDeleteWhen everyone was telling her to leave, I was just telling her to take her time and pray because only her can make the right decisions.
You people won't believe that when the matter reduced, this my friend said I was the only good person despite being a divorcee I didn't tell her to move out ,that even her pastors were telling her to separate and he calls himself a man of God...
I just dey smile for my mind.
Hehehehehehehehe. Them no dey advice people in love ooo
DeleteI no go keep quayet ke? Small talk wey i talk that year the babe (my friend) said I was jealous of her relationship. Laslas na boys them carry come my house to beat me.
ReplyDeleteI agree with her. But I'm never helping anyone in that situation again. A friend of mine made me a laughing stock during my university days because I tried to help her out of a toxic relationship. She left herself when she got tired. Never again!
ReplyDeleteLeave matter, some of the women enjoys the beating. How I want take cry more than the bereaved it's can't be me
ReplyDeleteSadly true and majority of us are guilty of this with the tag "let me mind my business".
ReplyDeleteIf we cultivate the habit of speaking up regardless of who it involves i bet you, the casualties will be reduced.
right somehow but husband and wife matter get as he bi o.
ReplyDeleteI agree with her. It’s that same keeping quiet attitude why so many children die in violent homes or end up trafficked for seck trade. Someone always know. Not everything in life you can keep quiet about. However, I understand not everyone is wired for confrontation so tell the authorities anonymously or another person.
ReplyDeleteI agree with her
ReplyDeleteThere's a difference in speaking up and letting people carry their cross. Speak up first. Nigerians are too fond of only defending or speaking against what affects them directly and turning a blind eye to 'not my business'. A man will never see something happening to a fellow man and leave him to his devices so even if your own is to call authorities and walkaway....do something
ReplyDeleteThe day my man tried to hit me i collected the bet lash quietly ,,,moved outside the gate , wept like a LADY came back in to the house and sat demurely.
ReplyDeleteWe talked further and started yo disagree again and next thing i saw was he made a beeline for the belt again!
I got into THUG mode and pulled out my aka odo from the kitchen! There and then the madness stopped!
Aka Odo for president.
He never ever tried to touch me again.
I will never be a victim NEVER .
Aka odo for brain reset!
It depends on the situation ooo..some people don't want to be saved
