Pidgin Post - Up NEPA

Naija people i say make i confirm something.....Una still dey shout ''UP NEPA'' If light come back abi the name don change?..so for the beginning when i wake enter the abroad, if i wan crash, somebody son go just off light and i go sleep and wake up when everywhere dark, i go think say NEPA don take light and i go dey think of how to get up, somebody son go come out on light and i go shout ''UP NEPA''....lol
I no dey shout up Nepa loud again but e dey for my head and i no ever fit forget my up Nepa days lai lai...

  6. I still heard up Nepa last night when they brought light. There is a hotel near my residence that has an Alam system which triggers as NEPA brings light, as soon as that Alam sounds, people around will shout Üp Nepa: hahahaha.

    1. We dey this table if no light for like 3-4days Nepa come bring light, me and my kids go shout up NEPA.. The father go say you people should not follow your mother to be shouting like this cos she's a bush woman..

  13. If I hear. My son that will be one year tomorrow still shout up NEPA. He learnt from My daughter of 3 because she usually shout it. my wife taught her. It's a tradition as long as you live in naija
