''As I begin my 50th birthday celebrations with meaningful activities for the people of Ile-Ife, I was honored to welcome Her Excellency, the First Lady of Nigeria, to the Royal Court of Ife. Her visit, attended by dignitaries, marked the unveiling of the OJAJA hostel, and the commissioning of a 2.7-kilometer road and a pavilion named in her honor at Obafemi Awolowo University. These events reflect our shared commitment to progress for our community and nation.
Her Excellency’s journey from a student at Obafemi Awolowo University over 41 years ago to a national leader is inspiring. She has consistently championed the rights of women and children across Nigeria, advocating for gender equality, education, and social welfare. Her support for entrepreneurial programs has fostered a new generation of female leaders, contributing to national development.
Like Her Excellency, I urge all leaders to serve Nigeria with integrity, compassion, and patriotism. Our nation requires socio-economic initiatives that reach all corners, and it is our duty to be sources of hope and strength in shaping Nigeria’s future.

ReplyDeleteIn Nigeria presently, everybody and everything is badðŸ˜ðŸ˜
ReplyDeleteBAT and RAT . Powerful couple
ReplyDeleteSo please what meaningful contribution did Senator Oluremi give to the people of Ife, that we didnt’t read anywhere that entitles her to be immortalized in this way by this people?
ReplyDeleteSecondly, in the current economic realities of the country, especially the masses, whom this Oni claims to be leading, should building the statue of a first lady who has been there for barely one and a half years be the priority of his village people? I’m surprised the Ooni agreed to unveil it. I’m sure there are still government schools in Ife that have no computers for kids to work with, invite her to do stuff like that, not erecting a meaningless statue.
If she really dis well for the people, it is after she has left office that they would decide to do something like this to honor her, not while she is still there, and has the ability to wield so much control over them. That’s eye service.
Big eye service.
DeleteHappy Celebration Sir
