Nigeria's CJN Kekere- Ekun Cautions Judges Over Delayed Cases

Nigeria's Chief Justice, Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, cautioned judges that delayed case executions threaten public trust in the judiciary.
At the National Judicial Council conference, she expressed concern over rising pending civil and criminal cases which are 243,253 as of Q1 2024 and low verdict rates. Kekere-Ekun urged judges to leverage technology and innovative case management to boost performance.
