You package food and snacks for your kids to eat in school, yet somehow, you are not certain they actually eat that food. Because often times, their nannies and teachers eat it. Your child comes home very hungry, and you're wondering why. The vocal ones might open up to you, and reveal what's going on. The introverts may stay mute. That's why it's good to encourage your kids to speak up.
ReplyDeleteLast week, my wife had to sack 2 nannies in the school she heads. They made it a habit to always 'steal' toddler's meals, until their luck ran out. Imagine mixing rice, fruits, meat, egg, plantain etc in a food flask to take home, at the close of school, every time. SMH! Na sapa abi just pure greed and wickedness? How do you even have the heart to eat food meant for little humans?
As parents, we can't always watch our kids 24/7. We can only do our best.
May God always protect our kids and expose every bad intention toward them.

Bro, it is greed. No matter how hungry the teachers are, DO NOT EAT THEIR FOOD. I saw comments asking the mothers to pack food for two (kids and teachers). That's just wrong. Same thing happens when a delivery man eats part of the food he's meant to deliver, you'll see comments saying "na hunger". Like really. What's wrong is wrong.

When you do this once in a while, these persons may not have the intention of stealing the kid's meal or treating them badly. Remember, I used the word 'May'
The government and some private school owners aren't fair to their employees in terms of salaries. I do feel for these teachers. I have been there. In 2005 I was a teacher in a private school. I left behind three months salaries when it seems the owner of the school is using that to tie me down from resigning.

DeleteWhat percentage of people in Nigeria still eat three square meal a day? I don't want to talk about quality food. Saying it's a flex on anyone or family who can afford three square meal every day that's of quality, I think I won't be wrong considering the current hardship in Nigeria today.

Somewhere last month, I was charging my phone when I heard two guys talking. These are men in their 30's. One told the other that a certain man living in the street wedding is the next day(Saturday) The friend asked if he was invited. He said no but will attend. He went further and told his friend to join him so they can attend, at least they'll see food and drink to hold belle.
They both agreed to attend.
Who in their right senses attend occasion they aren't invited? Let alone going because of the food & drinks they'll consume.
This is what Nigeria has turned people into. So I wasn't surprised when the Senate president told Nigerians to go out and eat anywhere they see food. This simply means there's no hope in sight or plans to address the harsh economic condition biting hard on Nigerians.
Most times, I hear people saying to the unemployed, ''Go and look for a job'' Are there even jobs in Nigeria that can conveniently takes care of one's bill? Not as if people don't want to work, the question is, are there really jobs out there? Even the few jobs out there, the pay is nothing to write home about.
Nigeria actually defies logic.

DeleteYou people should calm down and let these women be (Chika & Glory). I don't understand this constant attack on them. Even if they're the same person which I still find it very difficult to believe. If you don't like anyone here, the best you can do is to skip their comments instead of crying beneath them all the time. If you can't correct one's usage of English politely and in love, then skip their comments rather than making mockery and jest of them.
Some persons find semblance of joy and happiness here. Why try to hurt them with words and false accusations? If you aren't a coward, then attack them with your moniker. You go anonymous to drag, bully and insult people who haven't done anything to you and then tomorrow you use your moniker to form a good person and then beg for giveaway.
Disappointingly, some of you who do this nonsense here could be 'mothers' and mature ladies. I cringed at the level of hate and dark heart you people exhibit here on the daily.
Unarguably, some of you come from a dysfunctional and abusive background. So one will understand why displaying kindness and respect to others is alien to you people. It's an indication you never felt love while growing up, for if you actually do, you'd have the ability to treat people with love & respect.
