ReplyDeleteI'm a married man too and I don't go to church.
When I wanted to marry my wife, I told her that I don't go to church. I made it clear to her from the beginning that I will not interfere in her church going and won't want her to interfere in my not going to church.
I told her that any day she try to convince/force me to go to church will be the day she will either stop going to church or our marriage will end.
She asked about our children, I told her that they can go to church with her, but when they grow and decide not to go to church again, I will support them.
I only go to church during child dedication, baptism or thanksgiving of family or friend.
You are even talking about online service, I told my wife that I don't believe in religion.
It has been 10years of peaceful marriage.
You as a single man/woman, kindly discuss everything in details before entering marriage with your partner. Don't make a compromise that you will turn around and stand your ground in marriage. That's where the problem start.
One of the problems I have with religious people is that they want to force their religious belief down your throat.
Me too, I hardly go to church but that poster must go to church cos his wife said so. He must obey his wife or be ready to face more trouble. Very simple

So because you discussed with someone about something in the single stage it means it will always be like that in the marriage. Or have we not read of married women here saying that everything they discussed with their husband changed the moment he married them. That talking during courtship is not a guarantee for anything later in marriage and sometimes they had to compromise. If your wife comes now I am sure she will have one or two things about you that have changed from the way you promised while you both were single.
I hope you also commented the day a woman wrote in a chronicle about her husband not going to church but she didn't mind still the man was not satisfied and he told her not to take the children to church because he doesn't believe in it. I hope the way you are blaming the woman for trying to force the husband to go to church, you also blame the chronicle husband for trying to force his family to stay at home.

A child will return from school by 3pm with five different text books and ten pages each for homework. What a thrilling weekend of football activities across Europe we had. Starting from England, it was a pulsating encounter yesterday between Arsenal and Liverpool, MO Salah turning up for Liverpool as usual was not unexpected. So those who were real men went to check the cause why the generator was on, but there wasn't light, only for them to discover that one guy at the back yard where the generator was mounted, accidentally stepped on the wire and the cable was UNPLUGGED🙄🙄🙄.They fixed it back, when the light came back, they also discovered that the elderly man who was shouting leave me oh oh, leave me oh,wasn't held by the dead man but by a nail on the benches which hooked his cloth.

ReplyDeleteI had a wonderful time yesterday. Came back home last night so tired after taking some strong wines and eatable. It was a big celebration with men and women of great substance. Saw some notable big guys in the oil business. It was a table party occasion with pretty big babes on my table, very fresh, wearing good and strong perfume. ReplyDeletePlease I have something bothering me and I wish to pour out my heart to you my fam.
Last Saturday, something strange happened while I was weeding around the compound.
Let me explain the background first.
Early last year, I bought a container shop to set up in front of our compound for selling provisions as a side business. Because no one else in our estate is doing this, I saw it as a good opportunity.
But the cost of bringing it to my location was high, so i opted to for it to be in piece, and I will assemble it at our house, which was cheaper.
Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, I couldn't proceed with the project and left the pieces aside.
So this year's June, I contacted a welder nearby to negotiate the cost of reassembling the container shop. He guided me on the placement and entrance door location, windows, etc.
But his quote was too high for me, so I informed him I would get back to him when I'm ready.
I forgot to mention, I wanted to buy the container from him, but his price was too high. So, I went for the cheaper one, which he had no issues about, he even checked before I made the purchase.
Now, back to last Saturday as I was clearing the area the outer fence area where I intended to mount the container, I noticed a spot near the proposed entrance door that was unusually soft.
I dug into the soft spot and discovered several items buried there: unopened bottled water, a container filled with a brownish liquid, a bottle of soft drink, crackers, klin, milk, and sweet sachets, and other rusty sachets I didn't see clearly all banded together in a piece of jean cloth and placed inside a yellow nylon bag.
As I pulled the nylon bag out, it tore due to its weakened state.
I dismantle the items and left them by the roadside, where they were eventually crushed by passing cars.
Since then, I've been puzzled by this discovery. I can't help but wonder who buried these items and what their intentions might have been. I shared this story with a friend who thinks the welder might have buried these items because he was the only one who knew about the container's arrangement, even the mounting position. But for what purpose exactly?
Does anyone know what this could mean, or if there might be any implications?
