  21. This is misinformation and absolutely unnecessary in a country where many cannot afford 3 meals a day. There is scientific evidence that it is the most important meal of the day. Period.

“Breakfast literally means “to break the fast.” It is the first meal of the day after a stretch of not eating overnight. Breakfast earned its title as the most important meal of the day back in the 1960s after American nutritionist Adelle Davis suggested that to keep fit and avoid obesity, one should “eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper.”

After an overnight fasting period, eating breakfast replenishes your body's glucose stores, boosting energy levels and alertness, while also providing essential nutrients that can help with weight management, blood sugar control, and cognitive function, potentially reducing the risk of chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes and heart disease if done consistently with healthy choices. There are specialties in medicine and not all doctors are experts in everything.

This kind of talk and those from folks like Aproko Dr etc are the reason CEs are compulsory for maintaining your license in the US without which you cannot even call yourself a physician.
