That's not even the koko. When his wife died last year, Pastor Muoka told members of the church that his wife was in coma and they needed to pray for her recovery. While the news was going round that she was dead, Chosen members believed that she was alive and just ill. Muoka never announced in the church that she had died even till this year. Same thing that happened some years ago when a State Coordinator in the East was killed while moving church money to the bank. He was murdered while wearing the apron and chanting 'I am a Chosen 3x'. To save face, Muoka told the church that the bullets entered because the man was a fornicator and adulterer. That church and Pastor ehn! I can write a whole book on what went down there in the last 15 years.

My uncle was a devout chosen member.
ReplyDeleteOne day, he was on his way to drop his son off at school - secondary school, boarding house. He collided with a truck that ran into the road and became unconscious on the spot. His head was injured.
His son was unharmed. The teenager got out of the car, brought out the apron from the boot, and while they were trying to salvage my uncle’s life, the boy was on the road and started shouting “God of chosen! Please bring my father back to life. He is a faithful tither”. He followed his father to the hospital, chanting the same thing, even after his father was pronounced dead and they wheeled him to the mortuary. He followed the corpse saying the same thing.
