UEFA Explans Why EPL Clubs May Be Banned Ahead Of Planned Football Regulator
UEFA has warned that EPL clubs could be expelled from the UEFA Champions League and England could be banned from the Euros if the UK government interferes with the planned football regulator. The proposed regulator aims to ensure clubs are run sustainably and give fans a greater say in key decisions. However, UEFA insists on no government interference in football governance.
