DeleteI can tell you that the average Nigerian educated to Secondary School level writes better than their British/ English contemporaries.
I do believe that what is worth doing is worth doing well especially, if you have been given what it takes to excel.
However, let's be kinder to people who haven't had the opportunities because most non-native English-speaking Caucasians proudly speak their 'broken English'.
Above all, the British cannot speak my native language or even pronounce my native name correctly. We do not owe them fluent and correct spoken English language just as the French nationals do not.
Therefore,..'pardon my French'... Oops!, I mean, my dialect. 😜🤣
